The pigment is amazing in these! They are a drugstore brand so the cost was low, however I don’t think that you would be able to tell. They blend pretty well and the colors are great. I love these palettes, they are my best drugstore find!

I’ve tried three of these palettes and all three were NOT great. They work in a pinch, but just barely. I used every brush and technique I could think of to make these work and they just didn’t! They are absolutely NOT buildable. You go to blend out a color or add a layer and the pigment literally blends off your eye. Even if you get the color to stay on your eye at application, it won’t be long before it rubs off due to your eye blinking. I do not recommend these palettes... at least the three I purchased.

Blushed avenue is probably my fave closely followed by girls night glimmer matte about twin just wasn't my colors it's a good palette just too cool for my taste and skin tone the formula is like a creamy powder the base color is all powder but still smooth the colors blend seamlessly and I've created multiple looks using the blushed avenue palette girls night glimmer is perfect for winter or like full glam on the go that is a very very glittery palette but it's very pretty it is worth it for the colors i honestly got that palette before i knew wat i was doing with makeup so i can't say I've created looks with it but the colors are strong and vivid and i liked how they looked on my eye those i would use over nyx black eyeshadow base to enhance the shimmers even more (nyx white base works best for blushed avenue black looks nice but white makes these pop) now matte about town is the most powdery feeling palette but it doesn't take away from the palettes performance the only reason i didn't like that palette as i said was it was too cool on me and the colors were nonexistent on my lids when i searched them the darker ones barely showed up the lighter ones kinda looked the same on me they really are matte and would be perfect for everyday looks i think the warmer palette would be better for girls my shade but overall I'd recommend them

These are great little palettes. So easy to throw in a purse. Sturdy plastic case. I have bought only three so far. Graffiti Pop, Chill Brunch and Downtown Sunrise. Chill Brunch is my favorite of the three. Taupe shades with a touch of pink and a purple shade I can use as liner! I already ditched Maybelline's Nudes palettes in favor of them. These have more pigment. Each palette have at least one shade of glitter, and easy to avoid if you don't like glitter. They stay on my lids pretty well with primer, but fades fast without. Downtown Sunrise is my second favorite with that orange shade. I don't usually do orange/red shades, but this one is like a clear orange if that makes sense. Not too warm or reddish. And that right upper corner shade is beautiful. A rose gold? Not sure but it is gorgeous! Graffiti Pop has that teal and dark purple colors that I love, too, cause I needed some color in my collection.

The reason why I chose this palette is because of the mauvey shade that looks really similar to "Buon Fresco" from the Modern Renaissance palette. I swatched it side by side, and it's actually quite similar! Buon Fresco is more cool toned and more mauvey, whereas the one in this Maybelline palette is more pink.
I was actually quite disappointed with the matte shades, as I would've thought they'd have more pigment. The shimmers are great; they're very creamy and lay well on the lids. A champagne inner corner highlight would have been better than two bronzy shimmers.
I would recommend this to people who like buildable shadows, since you don't get much pigment on the first swipe. I still love the colours though!

I was given the neutral mini city palette by maybeline and omg it's amazing. The formula is like butter and so friggen pigmented. I love it so much. It blends a-freaking-mazing and compares to all my high end palettes if not better than high end. I defiantly recommend everyone having this product. I will be buying more of the minis from this line.

I bought this to do makeup in a friend of mine for her engagement shoot and it’s pretty good. The light cream shade is amazing!! So pigmented and creamy. And the metallic/shimmer shades are pretty good too. However, the darkest plum shade really lacks pigment. It’s not my fav but the rest of the palette is pretty good for the price.

Maybelline The City Mini Palette ‘Downtown Surprise’ — It’s a cute and small palette. It comes with six shades. Base, Crease, Lid, Liner. The packaging is your regular plastic black with a see through screen. It’s cute in my opinion. The shades are pigmented and lost lasting. You can buy this palette at any place that sells Maybelline products for a great price. I would definitely recommend it.
