- "i love this concealer! the fair shade is kind of pink but in a brightening way! i just wish there was a yellow undertone in like really bright like the fair because of my skin tone! but they're so creamy and i love them!" in 1759 reviews
- "first bizarre point about the concealer before we get into the pro's is that this oxidizes within the container. if it didn't do that i'd be giving it a 5 star review. i purchase both fair and light to mix together (fair number 15 is actually lighter than light number 10 so watch out). however less than a week of having the fair shade it will oxidize within the tube and turn much more yellow in tone, which is so bizarre. i keep buying however because i'm a fan of the product.
the consistancy is really pleasant! it's a healthy mixture between cream and liquid and blends really well. i'll use the real techniques concealer brush and my fingers to blend or let my beauty blender do all of the work, depending upon the day. this sets really well under the eyes and won't budge if you set it in place with a powder. however, if you're against powder and you choose to not set this product be prepare for a crazy amount of movement and transfer to your lower lash line. other than the oxidizing issue i'm a big fan of the product.
price point is great especially since ulta regularly has buy two get one free on maybelline's entire line!" in 1128 reviews
- "this is my favorite concealer. it is hard to find a shade with the right undertone though so i just mix two shades together, which is a con because that means i am having to buy more product just to get one shade. it is great for the under eye and for blemishes, it is light weight. alot of people say it is a dupe for the nars radient and creamy concealer, i do not know if that is true or not because i have not tried the nars concealer. but i do know that i will continue to buy the [product:maybelline-fit-me-concealer] " in 839 reviews
The formula as i said is light, i suppose can be a bit build-able but not by much. I find it dries out matte and can make the undereye area to appear a bit dry. Its creamy and soft when you initially apply it and looks good om the skin, but once it sets i dont like the dry look at all.
Over all i do not like this, it lacks coverage, really dislike the matte finish. The price for the amount of product is pricey in my opinion. There is hardly anything in the tube and runs out quickly
The shade range is the second thing i disliked the most. All shades seem to have more peachy undertones, which i hate with a passion when i want something for highlighting! I have yet to find a decent drugstore concealer with a good shade ranges. Even the lightest shades in this are darker once dried, especially compared to other concealers i used labeled as a FAIR or LIGHT shade- this does not look that light. It has such strong peach undertones.
I think this is a good option for those seeking a lightweight concealer, with little coverage and like the matte finish. And for those of you who prefer peachy undertones. I can see this being a better option for simply concealing VERY lightly under the eye- , but not highlighting. The only good thing i can say is the consistency is creamy and nice when applying- But this is not something i would buy again.
