- "this is a really powerful highlighter. it has beautiful pale pink and pearly undertones. however i find that it can sometimes be hard to blend into my cheeks properly and you can see the line of product on top of the blush. i find a little goes a long way with this and adding a powder highlighter on top really helps it blend more into your face and helps it stay put." in 123 reviews
This is a great dope for Cover FX custom enhancer drops in Halo. Much like that product I use this to add to my highlight. The irredentist is a lot more of a rose gold though as opposed to the Halo which is like alien blue. That being said though the Maybelline product sits nicer on my skin and blends better. I also feel more comfortable wearing it alone as a highlighter than I do my Cover FX drop. Considering the Cover FX drops are about $40 and the Maybelline Master Strobing Liquid Illuminating Highlighter is about $8 I'd say it's a good deal. When I purchased this product, I actually had every intention to buy primer instead. However, this product has proven to be quite great for me! It is very affordable! The pigmentation is great! You can blend it out to be as fair or bold as you want, and the product is very easy to build! For me, this highlighter looks like a snowy white on the skin, which works well with my current complexion! I may have to try a deeper shade for summer! The only reason I can’t give this product five stars is because I’m not 100% sold when it comes to liquid highlighters. I have found it much easier to apply a powder highlighter than a liquid, and often times don’t find myself reaching for this product for that reason alone. But if you are into liquid highlighters, you definitely need to try this product out!
So I had to return Nude Glow at my local CVS because it was too dark for me. This is the medium shade and I swapped it for the lighter one called iridescent! My undertones are warm and the cooltone in iridescent pops well with my undertone surprisingly. I apply with my finger and for the most part it blends well, although layering it is difficult as it moves product around. It's a natural highlighter compared to powders, but the reason why I bought this was so that I wouldn't have the fallout of a powder highlighter all over my face when I was done. It's not glittery to me, it's more of a natural glow which I love :)

OMG you guys...this is my top buy this year so far. I’ve never been a fan of liquid highlighters and illuminators simply because I feel like they’re not an easy application, but I couldn’t resist buying this when I swatched it. I mix it with my foundation and the overall glow is amazing. I get so many compliments on my makeup when I use this. It’s super pigmented and affordable. I would recommend it to anyone that wants to add a little glam to their look.
For a liquid highlighter I found that this works alright. You should never just leave a liquid product on the face. You should put a powder on top to make sure the product does not move. This is perfect for a base for my powder highlighter. It has a wet look to the skin. The highlighter is for lighter skin tones so I would not recommend for deeper skin tones. Best application is with a finger and being tapped out. It was a good starter to working with liquid highlighters.
I wasn’t a big fan of this product - I found it to be a bit greasy and gloopy, and hard to work with. The pigment was nice, but made me feel more oily than I wanted, and my skin didn’t react well. That said, if you have dry skin, this product may work better for you!

This was the first highlighter I ever bought and I can still remember how excited I was when I got. It gives you a healthy glow and it blends like a charm. I’m not much of a blush person and this highlighter made me glow and added a little bit of color to my cheeks. I simply love it. OK so I just pick this product up along with another one in gold at Rite Aid I got home I did some swatches and I absolutely love this product you guys are going to be a maze with this product I cannot wait to put it all over my face it doesn’t smudge your smear come off like the powders do I’m really impressed
So I recently purchased this and I am in love with it I think that it goes on very late it is very pigmented and if you take a blending brush and blend it the correct way on your cheekbones it will look amazing definitely bought this at Walmart for three dollars
I was a little worried about this coming out pink on my skin with my redness, but it looked very pearly and incredible on my light and pink undertoned skin tone. I have very dry skin and this gives a great, natural glow to my face. I would say that if you have oily skin I wouldn't use too much of it because your face is naturally oily. However, this puts the glow in the right place!
Q & A
How did it work on you other ladies?
Has anyone tried mixing this into their foundation for a more dewy look?
Does anyone know how well this product works?! I've been wanting to try an illuminating primer but have held back because I don't know what it necessarily does or if I would like it?! Any help would be appreciated on this one!?!?
How does this compare to the strobing stick?
I didn't love this product.. maybe I'm not applying correctly? I rubbed a little into my cheekbones with my ring finger. Felt like I could hardly see it.
