I bought Matrix 10 Volume Cream Developer when I used a fantasy Iced Grey/Blue toner. This worked very well. It did not fry my hair or irritate my scalp. The toner I used was temporary and this blended very well. I was actually told to use this with the crazy color spectrum because it so mild. I would not use this with bleach or a permanent color. It's not thick enough. You definitely need to follow the directions to get the right mixture. That is very important! The smell is not as strong as most developers, but it does smell. Overall this is a great developer for temporary toners/colors.
