Mass Effect: Andromeda is not the original trilogy. It isn't meant to be. Commander Shepard is dead. She's gone. Andromeda is meant to start a new journey in a new galaxy with a new crew. Unfortunately, it released with some issues. Those issues were minor. This game was on point with writing and gameplay. The multiplayer was not bad. The absolute worst part was that there was no DLC because of the fan backlash over the trivial issues at release. But, again, it's a solid game that should be seen on its own merits and not stood up next to the excellence and memories that are the original Mass Effect trilogy.

While this game wasn't as great as mass effect 3, it was still one of the best ME games I've played. It's not meant to be ME3, it's a different story with a different character. I miss shepherd but equally I loved getting to know Ryder, and feel bad that everyone is comparing the two, they're different people with different missions and goals. Over all 9/10 game. Hope there is a sequel.
