This peel off mask claims to purify, soothe and moisturize the skin. The mask formula is a light pink metallic fluid that dries down on the skin over 15 minutes. After 15 minutes, it is meant to be peeled off, revealing hydrated, soothed and purified skin. The fruit enzymes in this product, combined with the removal of the mask, is meant to gently exfoliate the skin, removing dry and dead skin cells. Unfortunately, this mask did not peel off easily or effectively. It came off in very thin and tiny pieces. About half of the mask needed to be removed with water, eliminating the exfoliation process. Overall, my dry and sensitive skin was not very moisturized or soothed by this mask. After using this mask twice, my skin felt stripped of natural oils and irritated. I have used many excellent Masque Bar masks and products that I highly recommend. Unfortunately, this mask is not one of them.
