The Marriot is one of the most professional and comfortable hotel chains I have continuously stayed in. They are very accomodating and if there is an issue they will fix it as soon as possible!

We routinely stay at Marriott's across the country and we are never disappointed. They are clean, comfortable, and they have great customer service. Depending on the location they can be a little pricey but they are worth it. I wouldn't hesitate to stay in a Marriott.

Luxurious, nice hotel. Stayed at a few of these in my childhood in St. Louis downtown and it was a truly wonderful experience! Next to all the fun :)

We have been to The AC Barcelona hotel which belongs to the Marriott group. The geographic situation of the hotel is really good, next to the beach and in front of the Diagonal Mar shopping center where we can find many stores (Primark, Zara, H&M...) and many kinds of restaurants with one Halal restaurant (Turkish fast food on the third floor) The hotel is nice and Clean, the buffet for breakfast has a variety of slaty and sweet foods and Fresh fruit juices. The pool on 14th floor give à nice view on the city and the beach. The personnel was good at this moment, maybe a little bit too cold sometimes and the room was...normal, like nothing very classy or beautiful, the room has a cold atmosphere, very unpersonnal but was cleaned every single day. I recommend this hotel

My mom owns a timeshare down in Las Vegas close to the strip so we try and use it at least once a year when we can. Some Marriott hotels are top notch while others need some updating for sure. But the one in Las Vegas has both the best customer service and amenities from most of the hotels in which I have seen.
Sometimes, I find that some of the hotels are over priced for some of the hotels in which you can stay at, especially since some of their hotels do need a bit of updating in my opinions or they need to offer more for the guests whom are staying in their hotels, especially since there are other hotels out there that offer better amenities and are cheaper priced for a similar room.
But if I could, I would try and stay at a Marriott for sure.

I recently stayed at the laylow in Waikiki which is owned by the Marriott group. It was so lovely because staff were attentive. We stayed when they had newly opened so there were a few teething issues but when we requested a coffee machine they brought us one to keep in our room. Service was great and amenities smelt fabulous. The place was furnished in a modern chic style.

Lack of all services, including room service, social hours, and the lack of refreshments, pool has green algae, drain guards and warning signs are Covered with black dirt and water is not a level of recommended capacity. Morning breakfast is served by a big man hovering to make sure we only get one ration, and as I left the social area, spoke of my apparently humorous outfit, when I came in from pool door remained open from a faulty spring mechanism, I had said (I got it) as I'm walking through the door and with a roll of a eye and a smirk he pushes me, lack of awareness from night auditor, wouldn't let me in after I have been here a month, I spoken to her on many occasions and she acted as if I were homeless.

I have stayed and used Marriotts at different countries. Overall the brand is more business oriented than family oriented. The feel of the brand is targeted at business travelers. Most of the Marriott hotels are located near the airport, so it makes it easy to travel between the hotel and airport. There's a difference in Marriott and the Courtyard Marriott. Marriott on its own is a 5 star hotel and courtyard is a 4 star and therefor some amenities are not included like doorman, concierge etc.
