Gaylord does for families, what Vegas does for gamblers. Once you enter this self-enclosed world, it is hard to truly keep a reality on the time or even the outside world. Lush forests, cascading waterfalls, meandering paths, chirping birds, restaurants, spas, pools, seasonal adventures...all without leaving the building!
In my many travels, I have had the opportunity to stay at the Gaylord Texan and the Gaylord Opryland. Without leaving the building I have- gone on a river cruise, slid down an ice slide, gone bird watching, spent an afternoon snow tubing, and taken in a indoor tropical paradise from my rooms indoor 'outdoor' balcony.
Multi-generational travelers will find these properties have amenities that truly cover the gamut- golf, spas, children's pools, and paths to explore. No, you don't even need to leave to enjoy a good restaurant. Go south of the border, take in an Irish pub, watch the game in the sports bar, sip a Starbucks, eat sushi with chopsticks- the options are as varied as your taste buds.

We love to stay in Marriots when we travel. It's a nicer alternative and just a couple steps higher than a traditional Holiday Inn or Hampton Inn. There's tons of locations so there's bound to be one wherever you're staying. I especially like the Courtyard Marriotts - our wedding guests stayed in one and had only good things to say about it.

We prefer to stay at a Marriott whenever we travel. We know it'll be good quality. LOVE their resorts and can't wait for our trip to Orlando in October!!

I have always used Marriott while traveling and have never been disappointed. My best stay so far was in Maui on Wailea Beach. The resort was amazing and so was the beach.

I travel over 150 nights a year and call Marriott home for almost every single one of them. You can expect consistent service and quality and, not to mention, an outstanding rewards program. You might pay a little bit more than some of the economy or mid-scale brands, but it will be worth every penny of it.

High quality stays-usually equipped with a free breakfast and free wi-fi. Rooms are nice and you can find locations everywhere! If you get a Marriott card then you can earn free nights!

I like Marriott hotels, they have a lot to offer, and great amenities. However, they are very expensive, and don't have things other hotels have like a complimentary breakfast.
