I stay at the Houston Westchase every year for a dance competition. Have been going to the same hotel for 6 years now. It has been updated cosmetically over the past few years. It has 5 elevators which is nice and convenient. The breakfast buffet is a bit pricy being $20 plus per person and it’s nothing special in my opinion. They do have room service which is nice but think they could step up their game on the food quality considering the area. Never had a problem with the staff at this location. An indoor/outdoor pool at this location which is great year round. They serve Starbucks in their gift shop but it doesn’t taste quite the same to me. I’m not sure if it’s the people making it or the products. Price is great considering the area and amenities. Do recommend and will stay again
I made reservation to stay at Springhill Suite by Marriott Millenia location. I went to frond desk to checkin, however, frond desk attendant could not find my reservation. I showed my itinerary and email confirmation but I was told that she won’t be able to confirm my reservation so I need to contact Expedite to find another hotel. I was traveling with my 3 year old and husband, I felt hopeless and exhausted. This attendant showed no empathy, didn’t apologize for their system issue, didn’t attempt to contact customer service or anything. Just unbelievable. I don’t even want to give them 1 star. Terrible experience
I worked for Marriott hotels so I get discounts to Marriott and Starwood Hotels. I love Marriotts and am always impressed by the customer service when I enter, re-enter, or leave a property. I would recommend them to anyone. I usually tend to stay at brands that have free breakfast and internet. But Marriott has so many brands that cater toward so many different types of people.
Recently stayed at The JW Marriott in NYC. It was a bit expensive but absolutely wonderful. The location is impossible to beat and the building, a Historic Hotel, is gorgeous. The interior is stunning as well. Excellent and kind staff. The rooms - contemporary and inviting. Our view was amazing. The restaurant is lovely with a good variety of dishes. What impressed me the most was the bed. It was the single most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept in and I want one for home. The mattress, pillows and linens were all perfect. It was so comfortable that I spent half of Saturday in bed reading and napping. The towels were also top notch. Housekeeping and all the services I experienced were all 5 star and I definitely look forward to my next visit.
I usually choose to stay in an Air BnB solely for cost and convenience of having a kitchen. However we stayed last minute in a city where all the Airbnb’s were sold out and I’m so happy we chose Marriott. they were accommodating to our last minute getaway, had an affordable ocean front hotel, and it was so clean! Would highly recommend and would stay there again in the future.
Booked it online, I've never booked a hotel before by myself. Pretty simple and straight forward, maybe I was just overthinking it. They give you a check in time, arrived later than the suggested time with no issue. Check out where there is a slighter wait because everyone is on line at the same time but no more than 5 minutes. Email receipt for a secure paper trail.
Great location in Vegas was an easy from the strip back to the hotel which is a plus. Was accommodated as soon as we checked in our bags were taken up to our two beautiful rooms. And when I say beautiful they really felt like a home everything was so nice we stayed in to watch a few movies playing on the tv and the view was awesome could not have asked for a better room view can see the strip and lights and all the buzz of Vegas. Hubby & I enjoy our nights there as well as the rest of the family in their identical room a few doors down thank you !!
I stayed at the Marriott LAX in Los Angeles. I spent 4 nights using a discounted rate they offer. I choose to get away for a few days alone after my divorce. Every night I had dinner and drinks at this location. 1 night I had a steak dinner at their steak house. The service was nothing special. I could have been eating at Sizzlers and had the same service. The Porterhouse Steak smelled and tasted a little off but I figured it was their spices. I had 1 drink and spent over $130.00 on my nothing special dinner. After I hung out at the bar which I did every night of my stay and spent no less than $100.00 dollars a night. This is including some late night munchies from the bar. Coffee and breakfast every morning and $40.00 parking every day.
I took my daughter for her birthday weekend. It was a group of us so we had 2 rooms. A friend of ours gave us her employee rate since she works for a marriott. Once we got to the hotel we were denied the employee rate so we had no choice to pay full price. We eneded up staying just 1 night instead of the whole weekend. Will never stay at a marriott again
Had to travel for work to D.C. so I chose to stay in at Residence Inn Washington/Capitol Hill Navy Yard. Not only was it suite style with a gorgeous bathroom, kitchenette and space for long term stays, it had a sort of happy hour in the evening with appetizers and free alcohol. I can’t wait to stay in another Residence Inn, it was a perfect experience!
