Okay so I bought this Beta aquarium at Pet Supermarket for $15.99 plus tax and I really don't care for it. It simply doesn't do what it says it's supposed to on the package, it doesn't really clean itself when you put the fresh cup of water in there like it say on the instructions, if there's a film on top of the water the film is still there even after you put the extra water in as instructed. It doesn't so to speak cleans itself. I really could have just bought a regular tank, and eventually will. I'm still going to have to take out the fish and change his water completely I don't think it was worth what I paid I could have just got a plain tank or medium bowl but it is very pretty and goes with multiple decors but if you're getting it for the self-cleaning Feature not a good idea!! Also as others said it is way to small seems unfair to the Betta, didn't think about this when I was buying it,but I totally agree.

This aquarium is much too small for a betta fish. It's very cute, but unfortunately does not provide the most optimal living conditions for your fish. It requires more work to maintain than a larger aquarium as well. I personally only use this as a temporary tank when my betta is sick or his tank needs cleaned. Bettas need a heater, a filter, places to hide, and room to swim around.

This fish tank is quite small for the betta,
They need more space, atleast 2 gallons of water or more. It’s cute but not good for the fish.

Too small, the "tank" space is literally only big enough for me to put my fist in. Too small for betta. This is just a fancy cup.

Cute but a cruel and inadequate set up for a betta fish, which actually needs a minimum of 5 gallons for their size. Bettas also require hiding spaces and a heater to maintain a temperature between 74-80 degrees for optimum health. Don't waste your money in this cute little bowl, upgrade to a larger tank with some nice decor and your fish will flourish.
