The March of Dimes is a wonderful organization. They help so many families. I have fund-raised and dome the Walk for them for several years. MY nephew was a preemie and it couldn't believe how the medical bill were after he and his mother were released from the hospital. Thanks to the mark of dimes they were able to get some help and education.
This is an organization that hits close to home for me. My daughter was born prematurely and given a 1% chances of surviving. The March of Dimes made some of the most difficult moments of my life that much easier. If you have the chance, please consider giving back and helping families out with babies that need help in surviving the odds!
The March of Dimes is an organization near and dear to my heart, as my firstborn was premature. I donate to this cause every year, and I participate in their yearly walks. If you've never attended a March of Dimes March for Babies walk, I highly recommend it. The vibe is great, and it's awesome to see teams walking in honor of a preemie.
I believe the thought is good, but I disagree with the portion of donations actually contributes to the cause. Only 10 cents of every dollar is given to support the children while 90% of donations is for profit. I participated in raising money and walking for many years with the organization before finding out this crucial information.
A great organization that I care deeply about to donate a few time every year. I give it three stars because once you donate once, they keep calling you to keep donating. It gets annoying but i just block them and donate when I want to.
Before I got hurt, I used to walk in the march of dimes in New York and there give my little help. Is a great foundation like others. This one is somewhat more special tome because is about premature babies. These babies deserve to live and to be helped. It is so imperative that we all help these babies to survive. They are the future of our world
I will always be grateful to the work of March of Dimes! Their research over the years helped my doctors know what to watch for during my spontaneous triplet pregnancy, and then helped the NICU doctors and nurses know how to care for my preemies. Each year my kids and I participate in March for Babies, as a way of saying "thanks!".
I've had a pre-mature baby and was blessed that there were not issues. I know this is an amazing organization and I began donating to it when my son was born. However, once I donated one time, they began calling me more than once a week, and mailing me letters weekly, asking for donations. I found it to be overwhelming.
So appreciative of this orginization and the great things they do! I encourage everyone to donate their time or money to help this help others it will go a long way. These babies need a chance and we are the ones to help give it!
I participate in many runs for charities and what not, but this is my favorite. I was born a preemie & anything we can do to help those tiny babies make it is wonderful. We have come so far in medicine over the past two decades or even one. More preemies are surviving due to medic advancement and donations are so important
