So i have extremely extremely oily skin which goes really well with my acne prone and naturally red face. So, when I was looking for a new foundation I wanted something that would control my oil while also covering my acne and redness and also looking relatively natural. I stumbled upon this product in Sephora and tested it out there and I immediately fell in love with it. I must warn you though that it is a really heavy foundation so a little goes a long way. It does feel heavier than I would like it to be when wearing it but that is what happens when you go for a full coverage foundation. It takes a little practice to get used to applying this foundation too which even I am still struggling with. However, it covers incredibly well while also maintaining a pretty natural look. It managed to smooth my imperfections, mattify my face all day, and stay locked in. I don't mean to scare anyone off by exaggerating how heavy of a foundation it is because for those who are struggling to find the right foundation for skin like mine, I would definitely recommend this product. With the right primer and translucent powder (I use Too faced Peach matte primer and Laura mercier setting powder) the product goes on very well and stays on all day. I would also recommend using a foundation brush to apply it over a beauty blender because even with the use of a damp beauty blender it goes on heavy. The Sephora Beauty consultant used a foundation brush when I tested it out and I think that is a part of why it looked so much better in the store than at home with a damp beauty blender.

Hand down the best foundation I have tried. I love everything about it. However not for everyone. I love full coverage since I have some acne scars and every so often acne. I can count on Marc Jacobs Beauty Re Marc Able full cover to give me a flawless finish. Make sure you shake the bottle well before use. Also the wond inside when open it, is very different from other foundations. This is very concentrated so start off with a small amount.

I am light and for some reason when I went to the store to get matched the gal wasn't too familiar with the product. At the time Bisque Medium matched me however I think it is too light now and would need to try another color. I definitely want to continue my use perhaps in another shade.
My skin is combination to oily ( T zone). I work 10 hour days with the public and don't often have time to fuss with my makeup/ foundation. I do get acne here and there and have prior scars not deep but as previously mentioned.  I have not had any issues with skin irritation while using this product.

I hear Dew Drops Coconut Gel Highlighter and primer are amazing! I need to try them out. I have yet to be disappointed with Marc.

I think i am one of the very few who absolutely despises this foundation. To apply i have used both my huda beauty buffing brush and a beauty blender (both dry and damp.) the coverage is impeccable and it is very lightweight, i will give it that but thats the extent of the pros of this foundation for me. No matter what i did or what primer i used i could not get this foundation to apply well. It would be streaky with a brush, so i would pat it out with a beauty blender and it would completely come off in some places. It creased almost immediately no matter how little or how much i applied. Also, no matter what shade/undertone i tried (exchanged three times trying to fix this) it would always dry down to an ashy/gray tone around my mouth. Not a cute look. The only use for it that i could find was to mix it in with some primer or moisturizer and pat in with a beauty blender; i did, however, still need to use primer before i applied it or it immediately sank into my pores. At 55$ a bottle this is already an expensive product, i dont see any reason to apply double the primer too. I ended up returning this to sephora and going back to using my huda beauty foundation.

I love this foundation. For reference I used to use Mac Studio Fix Powder foundation for years. I loved how flawless it made my skin! However it left my skin in terrible condition after a while. I kept switching from high-coverage to high-coverage foundation in order to get the same coverage and no matter what I tried, I found myself constantly reapplying throughout the day. I am so happy that I found this. All I need is a few tiny drops (over slightly moisturized skin) and this stuff covers all of my imperfections. The best part is that it stays! I would never apply this all over my face like you would typical foundation. I hate doing that with any foundation anyways.  It just feels like a mask. The secret is you just put a small bit where you need it and blend it in. I don't even have to use concealer with this!  I really like the natural look (but still want good coverage) and believe it or not I can achieve it with this foundation.  It does leave a matte look (which I love) but you can also get the dewy look and still cover what you want at the same time. Amazing!

This foundation is FULL coverage! the littlest bit goes the longest way! its crazy how intense it is! definitely pretty matte and if you use too much can for sure look cakey, but if you apply the right amount it will look stunning! also make sure to get the correct shade, mine is a little too dark so i find myself having to blend down my neck like crazy! sometimes i mix this foundation with some lighter coverage dewey glowy foundations and it also looks stunning! I have dry skin so for best results I first apply with a brush and spray lots of setting spray before I blend it in, then i go in with a damp sponge to get areas the brush could not, then i use more face mist on the sponge and go in and pounce it all around my face to create a less intense look.

My Holy Grail foundation. It has a customizable coverage thanks to its unique dot applicator, it comes in a perfect shade for me, and it's soft, buildable, amd blendable. It's matte, but not so matte it feela drying, and plays well with all the other products I use daily. It never breaks up on my face and holds up to a full work day. It's perfect with a hydrating primer and hydrating setting spray- I like a more dewy finish, but layering hydration on hydration usually makes me feel sticky and gross. This foundation is the perfect soft matte to fix that problem. I don't care that it's $55- a little goes a long way and the product is high quality, so it's justifiable and worth all of it.

So I like this foundation a lot but there are a few drawbacks. This desperately needs a pump component, it’s very messy to get out of the bottle. You do need to work in sections because it dries down quickly. I use a luminizing primer or moisturizer under this product. The benefits are that it takes a TINY amount of product to cover your face, it is buildable and covers like crazy. To me there was a bit of a learning curve with this foundation, I had to try different sponges and brushes as well as experimenting with how much product to apply to get the kind of finish I was looking for. All in all it’s a great product but it’s not my everyday go to.

This is my go to foundation for long lasting full coverage. While this foundation is going to cost you a pretty penny, it certainly lives up to its high end expectations. I use this foundation for everyday and special occasions to cover up my acne scarring and texture for a fully covered finish. It is extremely mattifying so i wouldn’t recommend the use of full face powder to finish, and a setting spray will help to make the foundation look smooth and dewy. The packaging is quite frustrating; the black cap can get stuck to the inner applicator and the causes a huge mess. Id love to see the product upgrade it’s packaging and applicator!

Hands down one of my favorite foundations. It's very full coverage and a little bit goes a long way. Always start with less and build if you want more coverage, otherwise this will easily cake up for you (I did this my first few times using it). You only need a few dots! It goes on wonderfully over the Marc Jacobs Coconut Primer (linked below).

I do wish the bottle had a pump or another way to get the foundation out. I don't like touching the wand to my face and putting it back into the bottle.

I love the full coverage of this foundation and it matches my color perfectly. However, I am not nor will I ever be grey. This tint makes me look like a zombie. I used a clean brush, shook up the product, added the Marc Jacobs’s primer then the foundation. I have to use a powder to cover up this greying which doesn’t allow me to show the actual color of the foundation. It turned gre within minutes of application. Is there a fix for this? Come on Marc Jacobs your foundation and primer cost too much for this to happen. It would be 5 stars but it’s one because I am not grey.

I'm curious as to how this product settles on oily skin? I'm oily and acne prone and would love something with a soft matte finish!

I've been looking for a new foundation for oily skin. Would love to try this one out but I'm tired of spending so much money on them to just be let down. Tell me a little about this foundations please!
