I got a deluxe sample of this from Sephora for the birthday gift last year and I really loved it. It is pretty pricey so it can be hard to justify sometimes but there are so many unique colors that you may not be able to find elsewhere. I have only tried the Blacquer one but I found it was extremely creamy and easy to apply, lasts for a long time with only a minimal smudging (almost all eyeliners do this on me). This color is also extremely black. I will be looking to try this in other colors soon but would recommend. Also the deluxe sample lasted me several months.

Like most people, the first time I've tried this eyeliner was after receiving a sample size from Sephora. To be completely hones, I would not have thought to ever try this product if I didn't receive it for free. I'm really glad that I did give it a chance because now its one of my favorite eyeliners, ever. I use this primarily for my bottom lash line and find the crayon texture easy to apply. My eyeliner looks dark and never bleeds below the lash line. I've purchased this product once my sample did run out and will continue to do so for awhile!

Best eyeliner I have ever used. It applies extremely smoothly and doesn't smudge much. I use this eyeliner in my upper waterline and occasionally the outer corners of my lower waterline. The black and brown ones are my favorite, but the other colors are extremely pigmented and well worth. My only issue with these is that they dry out pretty fast, but they're still usable, just more flakey.

I've always wanted to try this eyeliner because I heard so many good things about it. I ended up getting two of them as samples to try in exchange for a review. Sadly, I don't think they are worth it. They don't last long on my lower waterline. I really liked that they glided on smoothly and are creamy but it didn't last long on my lower waterline and that's what's really important to me when using eyeliner because it's my favorite part to apply it. Unless, I'm doing something wrong. I really want to like it but at this time, I don't.

When I first started using this product I thought it was great! Application was easy/smooth and it stayed put all day without smudging. The reason I'm giving this only 3 stars is because it dries out really quickly after initial use. Since this is a high-end makeup product I would expect it to stay creamy for a long time (for example, urban decay's 24/7 eyeliners stay creamy until I've used them up completely). There's no way I could justify spending so much money on a product that will be dry/unusable within a month.

This eyeliner is one of my all time favorite liners. I find so many uses for these. Most often, I use this for my waterline or my tightline or to cover up the strip on false eyelashes. But they can also be used to line your lips for some of the more interesting lip colors, smudged out as sort of an eyeshadow, or eyebrows for those with more exciting hair colors. They are so creamy and don’t budge or run like a lot of pencil liners can do. They are excellent in every sense of the word.

I didn't choose the Marc Jacobs birthday gift set from Sephora, so I had no experience with MJ'S beauty line prior to making a purchase. I had been testing the eyeliners and was so impressed with the high pigmentation and resistance from makeup removers that I finally decided to get myself one of these eye crayons. $25 is a bit steep, especially if you're thinking about it from just a eye pencil perspective. But after all, it is Marc Jacobs and it is Sephora. I got myself the Wave Length (midnight blue) shade because it brings out my brown eyes and it glides on very smoothly. Because it is highly pigmented, not much is needed for it to pop, but YMMV. While it is one of the better eyeliners I've used, it still smudged after a few months of wearing it and when it smudged, it smudged severely. Would probably buy again because the color is gorgeous and wear is solid.

This is the best eye crayon I have ever used. I have the brown and the light pink. They are very smooth gliding on and so creamy. I also like that they are retractable. On work days, I wear the brown on my top line and the nude pink on my bottom waterline. It looks very pretty and natural. It doesn't smudge or run throughout the day.

Like many others, I received a deluxe sample size of this Gel Eye Crayon as a birthday gift from Sephora ( I ended up receiving 2 and I was so excited!) This is a perfect eye crayon. I have used this on my waterline and right on my lash line where I have blended it out for a more dramatic look. This crayon is easily bendable and glides right onto the skin. It is so great that I even have used it on my Halloween makeup looks because it just works so easily and perfectly. I actually went back to Sephora and purchased the full size of this and am tempted to buy one of the more dramatic colors. I have re-purchased and will continue to do so in this future.

I have this in black and cream. The black is super creamy and smooth, perfect for the waterline or tightline. I don't use pencil a lot and rarely use on top so I'm super picky about the ones i buy. The creamy shade i bought for my waterline so I can make my eyes bigger sometimes. It doesnt show up too much but it is pretty and I think i will start using it as a highlighter for my inner eye corners instead.
