Review for: Send Nudes, How Rouge! more...
Marc Jacobs Beauty Le Marc Liquid Lip CrayonI received the @MarcJacobs LeMarc Liquid Lip Crayon as part of my first Vox Box. The packaging was nice but it was difficult to open the box to get the product out of. The product itself was very easy to use. It has a very creamy formula with a sharp crayon mold. This allows for precise application to the lip. I received the colors How Rouge! And Send Nudes. I wasn’t sure about either color but they looked beautiful on! I don’t typically wear reds but the How Rouge looks great on my fair/medium skin tone. The Send Nudes isn’t really nude on my skin tone, it is more of a mauve/plum but I loved it. They have a opal/pearl sheen to the color which is a nice twist to a creamy/velvet formula. I would say this product is long lasting, however throughout the day, the color did cling to dry areas of my lips and looked like it was crumbling. At least one additional application would have helped the color stay vibrant through the day. The major negative so saw was that my How Rouge color came broken. The entire product was in the lid when I received it (which I was very bummed about) and so I had to use a lip liner brush to apply it. This was not as easy an application had I been able to use the full crayon itself. Applying the How Rouge was more tricky than the Send Nudes color. Overall, I’m happy with the #LeMarc liquid lip crayon. I would try other colors and recommend to my friends looking for a long lasting formula.

Review for: Send Nudes more...
I received this product and like the simple clean packaging. Just a little black and white box with beautifully simple design. The actual product is a beautiful smooth black plastic with a large graphic circle that is the color of the product. I love that you don’t need to open it so you can see the color of the product. The lip snaps into place so you don’t have to worry about it getting everything in your purse coated with it. It also has a twist bottom to expose more product, love this because most crayons/chunky pencils use a sharpener and I can never find mine when I need it. My shade is send nudes and it’s a deeper color than I would of thought. It comes shapes to a soft point(almost equal with most lipstick) but I would like it a bit more pointed so that I can have more definition with it. Applied like a dream, super creamy and buttery. Loads of color payout, definitely not anywhere near shear. It’s a deep nude with purple undertones and a gold metallic shimmer. It’s definitely a satiny matte but doesn’t feel as drying as most matte lips. The smell is nice and pleasant without being too overwhelming. I’ve got a weird thing about scents and this one is pleasant and doesn’t give me a headache. I blotted when I applied it and then put it to the test, it lasted through a nap hours of talking and a milkshake. Ate tacos for dinner and some transferring (rubbed off and I ate it lol). It’s still looking good ate 7 at night and I’m sure I’ve got plenty of time left. I don’t feel dry, actually it’s not too noticeable at all. I’d definitely recommend it and I’m looking into purchasing other colors. I received this product complimentary for review purposes.

Review for: Send Nudes, Night Mauves more...
I received two neutral shades of Le Marc Liquid Lip Crayon, the lighter Night Mauves which is a MLBB shade on me, and the deeper mauve Send Nudes. The Marc Jacobs Le Marc liquid lip crayon is such an innovative formula: super lightweight but very creamy. It glides on. I learned not to press too hard when applying because the tip broke off plus there's no need to. I love that I don't need a sharpener, just twist it up. The only slight downside is that after the tip wears away, there's no way to get it back and using a lip pencil first helps to get a more defined lip. The matte lipstick is not too drying on my desert-dry lips. I recommend exfoliating first if you have dry lips like me, and then apply a little lip balm first. The color is long-lasting, and I often forget I have it on because it feels like I'm wearing nothing. The snap-shut top is terrific too. I like Marc Jacobs Le Marc Liquid Lip Crayon a lot, and I want to buy one of the red shades next. I received this product complimentary for review purposes. Review for: Send Nudes, Plum n Get It more...
I received two colors (Send Nudes, and Plum n Get It) of these Marc Jacobs lip crayons in my Vox box complimentary in exchange for my honest review.

I was super excited to try these! I am always on the hunt for better lipsticks, especially ones that are both moisturizing and long-lasting. I can definitely say that the Marc Jacobs lip crayons deliver on both of these qualities! The application feels like butter (soft and smooth) and reminds me of the way some chapsticks apply (except with color). The colors are super pigmented and I don't have to add additional layers, which I love. I recommend using a corresponding lip liner around the edges of your lips because I accidentally smudged one of the corners and it became a little feathery, but that can be avoided with the right application. I can definitely see myself using these if they were in different colors. The only problem I had with them is that I did not like the colors that were sent. I have very thin small lips and typically do not wear bold or dark lip colors (so the Plum color was way too dark and bright on me). I thought I would have more luck with the Sends Nude color as it is more neutral, but it turned out being pretty dark and very brown on my lips. It also had a extra shimmer in it that the Plum color did not have and I don't really like that. Even if the color was matte, I don't think I would wear it that often because of how dark it is in contrast to my pale skin tone. I ended up not using these as often as I predicted and when I did it was when I mixed it with some of my other pale lipsticks to balance out the dark colors. The scent is awesome! It smells sweet but in a yummy and good way. I like the packaging. With other lipsticks, sometimes the color can come out the side (especially liquid lipsticks) and that can get all over my makeup bag or purse. The lids on these lip crayons make them much easier to travel with. It lasted well throughout the night (comparably similar to some of my liquid lipsticks) but when it faded it was soft and not flaky or dry. Overall, I really liked getting to try these and I may consider buying them in a lighter color.

Review for: Send Nudes, Flaming-oh! more...
I received this product and wasn't disappointed. It is a thicker crayon style but isn't too thick to where it is uncomfortable to hold. The packaging is pretty basic but looks high nice and sleek with the black and the white font. I received two of these, one in the color send nudes and the other flaming-oh! The flaming-oh isn't my style, it is a very bright pink color. So I will probably be gifting that one. The send nudes is a beautiful darker nude, almost in the maroon family. The product itself is super creamy, but it dries down pretty quickly and looks matte. The product does not move once it is dry! I was very surprised. I felt like it was super creamy and would probably have bad transfer but it does not! My only complaint is that the cap shoved down when it was in my bag so it smooched some of the product up into the cap and obviously the point is a little more flat now. But, I wear this almost daily and I feel like the formula is so wearable and functional that I would definitely recommend. 4 stars because of the cap and the price point is a little high for one lippie but it is Marc Jacobs and if you are looking for something with a good formula, give this a go!

Review for: Send Nudes, How Rouge! more...
This product is exactly as advertised - it feels exactly like a liquid lip color with the control of a crayon, and I really love it. The texture is creamy and silky with a beautiful satin finish. There is some transfer when eating and drinking, but it stayed on fine through the course of a 3-hour holiday party. "Send Nudes" is a cool-toned nude, a bit more on the side of mauve, which really works with my coloring. “How Rouge” is highly pigmented, but more bright pink/orange than true red as described. The color doesn’t quite work on me, but it’s so true to how it looks in the swatches online that I’d feel really confident trying one of the other bright colors like Fram-bois! My only complaint is that the formula is so soft that the crayon broke in the tube on the second application. Do make sure to exfoliate your lips well before using as it will show every flake. I received this product complimentary for review purposes.

Review for: Send Nudes more...
Send bae nudes wearing Marc Jacobs Beauty Liquid Lipstick Crayon in Send Nudes. Marc Jacobs is a liquid lipstick in a lip pencil format. The product has a retractable tip giving easier control on applying the lipstick. Use the lipstick crayon as a lip pencil for a precise application everytime. The lip stick goes on creamy and dries semi-matte.

It will last for about 4-6 hours before it starts to feather. Keep in mind this is with no food and drinks (unless drinking with a straw). The product will come off when eating anything containing oil.

On my skin tone, the product look cooler pink than warm nude. I did use a lip pencil to line my lips, but it is not necessary with this product. As always, exfoliate and moisturize your lips prior to applying the product.

I have been Sephora Rouge for years (yes, I know I have a problem) so I would say that I have tried my fair number of lip products. I am a classical musician and so I spend lots of time on stage in hot lights where I can't be checking my makeup. I like things I don't have to worry about fading or moving. I got super excited by the liquid lipstick trend until I realized I couldn't have fade proof color without drying the life out of my lips or cracking. I received this product for free from Influenster and I have used this product every single day since I received it. It is the PERFECT nude that allows you to define your lips without making a colorful statement. I hope MJB comes out with a set of these because I want to try so many more colors. This product is great with a gloss on top, though you need to keep in mind that it will take away from the permanent quality of the product. Otherwise, I would say that it is semi permanent, matte without looking dry, and a dream to reapply after that greasy slice of pizza. I can't wait to try them all.

I am already a huge fan of everything Marc Jacobs Beauty and these Lip Crayons did not disappoint! I'm not really a liquid lip kind of gal, I just find them way too drying for my lips.  However, I was really impressed with these lip crayons!  They are really creamy, super pigmented, they last forever (even through eating) AND they don't dry out my lips!  I love the easy-to-wear Send Nudes color!  I was also sent the Flaming-Oh! (Electric Pink) color which is a little too bold for me to wear on an everyday basis but it's a definite choice for a fun night out!
If you love liquid lipsticks then you will love these Marc Jacobs Lip Crayons even more, I PROMISE!!
I received these as free samples but all opinions are MINE!

I was a little iffy when I got these and wasn’t sure if I was going to like them. Honestly I love them!! The color goes on so smooth and it really pops! It also stays on very well. I wore one color Christmas Eve and one color Christmas Day and with all the eating and drinking I did I didn’t have to reapply my color once!!! I also really love the feeling it’s not sticky or anything you actually forget it’s even on. I’m not a huge fan of lip gloss or even chapstick because of the feeling and I was amazed that I could barley notice this was on my lips!!! I’m absolutely in love with it I can’t wait to buy more colors!!
