I love Manic Panic. I’ve been using this color line for well over 20 years. They have the most shades of color and the names are really cool! The application is simple and easy to apply. (Make sure you use gloves so you don’t stain your hands.) This product works best on light/medium colored blonde hair. You can apply it over darker shades of hair but it is much less noticeable than if it is applied over blonde hair. The best way to use this product is to lighten your hair (bleach) then apply your Manic Panic color. Leave on for the suggested amount of time. Wash and style. If you wash your hair with cold/cool water and use color safe shampoos and conditioners (this product is not permanent, it washes out) with every wash..this color will last longer and won’t fade as fast!

I wanted to dye my hair but I didn’t want to bleach it first, so I tried this on brown hair. I followed the instructions, however I did leave it on for a full hour and I put the hair dryer on my hair for about 15-20 minutes during the hour. It’s a great price and it does last a long time, however it is extremely, extremely messy. It also comes out in every time you wash it, meaning it looks like I got into a fight with the Kool-Aid man while showering. It’s definitely a brighter color in the sunlight but I’m extremely happy with how it covered my dark hair. I included a before and after photo. The price is great for what you get. I constantly cycle through bleaching my hair, then shaving my head and growing my hair out, then bleaching again. Manic Panic is my personal savior when my bleach doesn't turn out 100%. I turn to their greens (like Atomic Turquoise or Electric Lizard) when my hair is at a Level 8 with streaks of brassy, yellow Level 7. I slap Manic Panic on my dry hair with a plastic shower cap, wait 2-3 hours, and rinse with conditioner and cool water. The yellow tones in my hair vary the levels of greens and blues and create dimension in what would otherwise be really one-toned blue hair.

Manic Panic is a classic in semi-permanent hair dye. It’s a favorite of those with unnatural colored hair. Especially those who like changing up their colors often. I used Manic Panic for years in blues, reds, greens, teals, purples, and many other shades. Their formula is consistent. Vegan with no bad smell. The dye conditions your hair as it sits you can leave it on for a long time. Always vibrant results, of course depending what shade hair you’re putting it over. Does bleed in shower and sometimes rub off on white clothes.

I use it as a dye and I use it as a toner. After applying it (I use harsh shampoo, no conditioner, and fully dry my hair before applying) when I rinse, no color ever washes out. It slowly washes out over time. But when I rinse the product out after dying, not a single bit of purple in the water. DO NOT WASH AFTER RISNING. So many people dont understand the difference in semi/temporary dye and permanent dyes. This isnt going to damage like a permanent dye. If it doesnt call for developer. It's better on your hair.

This color showed up a little bit more it was cheap at Sally’s it didn’t give me as much of a purple color like I wanted to but it was something it did look pretty good in my seven-year-old’s hair she would probably want to go purple again and this would probably be the one that I would buy because it’s not as harsh on your hair and it doesn’t leave it is dry and is brutal so if it’s for somebody who just wants something colorful for a little while then it’s a good choice

Review for: Atomic Turquoise
Used on my sons hair (blonde) and it was gorgeous, a deep blue green that faded to a mint color over time. His hair is super easy to color and holds for a long time. I also used this on my hair (dark brown with bleached ends) and I loved it. The color wasn’t as blue on me as it was my son and it faded to an ugly swamp green. But it was so easy to use. Just apply, wrap and leave alone. Didn’t stain my sink or skin. Color lasted a few weeks before it needed refreshed

This is one of the first hair dye products I ever used to get unnatural colors. Most of the colors turn out exactly as expected. Most of the colors I have tried have come out super vibrant and really pretty. The fade just like any other semi-permanent hair dye but I have found they usually last a bit long than other brands. Run off can be a problem at times when you wash your hair or it gets wet but again not as much as with other brands. I would purchase again.

Review for: Ultra Violet
A couple months ago I used ultra violet on the under layer of my hair. If took about a full jar and I did bleach prior to use. The color was super intense and my hair wasn't entirely blonde before (more of a copper and yellow). Manic panic gives high intensity color very well, but I gave it 4 stars because it does fade much faster than other options on the market. I cowash and avoid excess washing (invest in dry shampoo) when I use manic panic to color my hair.

I initially thought this product was great. The color does come off really good on your hair. But, it’s not that good for your hair!!!! I’ve heard some horror stories! In my experience, my hair was pretty dry after the first wash after dyeing my hair. My hair is pretty damaged already from heat styling so this isn’t for someone if you’re like me and use heat on your hair a lot! Manic Panic High Voltage® Classic Cream Formula Hair Color

I think it depends on the person, but in my experience it did. I bought the Fuschia Shock cream, left it on for an hour and a half, used heat, and the results were pretty good. Keep in mind that I have dark brown hair. A month has gone by and my hair is still sort of pink, even when I have been showering with hot water (which helps the color fade away).
