I am unable to give a review that is great on this as I received a box that was unusable. The hair color had exploded in the box. I was really looking forward to trying it too. It did come with everything needed to use it. Would definitely try again!

Manic Panic Supernatural line is my favorite dye to use, and I’ve always wanted like an espresso brown color so I ordered bat outta hell. I’ve had difficulty in the past with really dark browns/blacks being too blue toned, and after rinsing this one out I was at first disappointed to see my scalp was stained blue. Also stained my sink- user error I take full blame!- but the stain is bright Smurf blue too which I found odd. However, after conditioning and doing another rinse my hair chilled out into the warm espresso color I was hoping for.

Manic Panic was one of the first hair dye color brands I’ve used growing up, so it was a nostalgic experience to be reminded how great their products are and this felt like a fun, elevated at home experience of hair coloring that I don’t get from other box dyes. Great color payoff, smells great, love it!
