Okay, can we just take a minute to talk about @makeupforeverofficial Ultra HD Foundation and Concealer?!? I've had this sample sitting around for a minute and finally decided to break it open to give it a try. First off, I've never found a foundation that matches my skin tone so perfectly. I used Y225, which looked too dark when I was looking at it in the little bubble. However, when I tested it next to my elbow it blended perfectly. I also used the concealer in shade R20. This too was the perfect light shade, not going too far in either direction. These photos were taken 3 hours after doing my makeup and walking a mile in cold 44 degree weather with 88% humidity, and I forgot setting spray (as well as mascara and locking myself out of the house this morning, it's been a long day already), but as you can see the foundation is still flawless. I've used zero filters or touch up apps on these photos and I'm so thrilled with how everything looks. The formula is light and soft, it doesn't feel like I'm wearing anything. It covered any redness and blemishes on my skin but you can still see my freckles. So how that's working, I don't even know. I can't rave enough about this formula! I'm going to go buy some immediately and if you haven't tried it, go get a sample and give it a whirl. You'll love it too! 💋💜💋 Foundation and Concealer: Y225 and R20 @makeupforeverofficial @makeupforeverus Contour Setting Powder, and Blush: Tarteist Contour palette @tartecosmetics Eyes, Lips, Highlight: Beauty Killer Palette (Courtney, Princess, Violence, and Confession), Velour Liquid Lip (Rose Matter), and Skin Frost (Crystal Ball) @jeffreestarcosmetics Mascara: Benefit Roller Lash @benefitcosmetics

My mom has been wearing this foundation ever since I got her hooked on Sephora. I've been dying to try this foundation but could never try hers because the one she buys is way too dark for my skin complexion. So when I found out I received this in my voxbox from Influenster for testing purposes I was threw the moon excited (what girl doesn't love to try free makeup).I received a full size bottle of this foundation along with two sample sizes in two darker shades, the two darker shades are definitely too dark for me to wear even if I'm self tanned. I have combination skin with slight breakouts and acne scarring so I love a good long wearing, light weight foundation that doesn't break me out and that lasts a good portion of the day since I work 9 hour days sometimes 15 hour days. But I gave this foundation five stars after trying it two different ways. This foundation claims to look like skin, have buildable coverage, be light weight, long lasting, and give a flawless complexion. I wish I could agree with all that this foundation claims, but I'd be lying. I applied this foundation after I moisturized my face with Neutrogena Hydroboost and after applying my Too Faced Hangover Primer. I applied this foundation with a foundation brush I purchased from Sephora few years ago and man was I impressed with the finish it gave my face, my pores were gone (how does this happen, my pores are the size of swimming pools on my face), besides it completely erasing my pores it looked just like skin and was so light weight on my face that it didn't even feel like I was wearing foundation; which I love! After applying the foundation I set it with the UD velvetizer powder and set it with Smashbox primer water. The only upsetting thing to this foundation, which is why I took away one star was that is wasn't very long lasting and buildable. My t-zone started getting pretty oily a few hours into wearing it and the acne spots on my face that are red peeked through no matter how much foundation I tried putting on. The only thing I have to try is using a beauty blender and seeing if that helps building coverage. The second try I gave this foundation I used the ever so talked about Urban Decay Velvetizer powder and mixed it in with the foundation and applied it with the same brush I used the previous day. The powder didn't really have that much of an effect on it though when I mixed it in with the foundation. Oil still peeked through mid day, nothing unmanageable though.I will continue to wear this foundation and consider purchasing it in the future. I love my Lancôme Tient foundation slightly more. But can see the obsession with this foundation!

Alright, I'm about to pop some people's bubbles here. This foundation didn't knock my socks off. I got a sample of this, and I was of course really excited to try it, since it's such a raved about foundation. I really didn't find it to be that special. This foundation does have good, pretty full coverage and blends well. It also feels nice and lightweight. It just doesn't look as amazing as people make of it. I didn't really like the finish all that much. It looks beautiful from far away but looking closer, it looks a little too "makeup-y." It emphasized my pores quite a bit too. I used a primer, set it with a little powder, and spritzed on some setting spray. Still wasn't all that impressed. Also, this foundation transfers very easily. I found that it did end up fading a lot by the end of the day. Overall, it's not that it's a bad foundation... It's really just not that impressive. I'd probably buy it if it were more of a drugstore priced foundation, but even so, there are drugstore foundations I love more than this. Just not worth it to me.

Its best product . Bestiiiiieeee bestttt product,,,,I loveeeee this product. I really enjoy free samples. If its good I definitely upload in my vlog and recommend to friends ,colleagues and family . I usually buy from drugstores. Love to use branded products and love to try new samples. Crazy to try  new samples but  cost effective :(The product has this light lotiony texture that spreads very easily, and I have not experience it feeling greasy or tacky on my face at all. It dries down rather quickly. Now when it comes to how it performs in making my makeup last any longer than other primers that I own, I can personally say that this primer does allow for my makeup to stay on a very long time. The only major difference is that it provides a level of hydration to my skin at the same time, while it's doing it's job towards keeping my face well primed, and keeping my makeup look as fresh as possible, for as long as possible. So it's really like using a light hydrator+moisturizer all-one.

This is a holy grail for me! I would definitely say that all of the claims are true.
It claims to be medium coverage and it is, though that is at most. It's the type of foundation you can sheer out or build up. However, if you're looking for a foundation you can make full coverage to cover scars and dark spots this isn't going to achieve that because it just doesn't build up that much. On the bright side, I have a feeling the reason it doesn't build up to full coverage is because it is meant to look very natural, skin-like and flawless on camera. When I take pictures and videos wearing this foundation they look great, flash or no flash. I usually use 2-3 pumps and apply with a buffing brush then blend it in better with a sponge for maximum coverage and it goes on smooth and very matte without settling into fine lines or clinging onto dry spots. On my skin it feels more lightweight than any other foundation I've ever tried, it isn't cakey at all and 100% evens out my skin tone. The only downside I've personally faced is my skin still getting shiny after a few hours around my nose. It's not a big deal to me because I bring my setting powder and spray with me when I wear makeup. Which reminds me, I recommend using primer, setting powder and setting spray for all day wear. I love that this foundation doesn't transfer onto clothing or anything else, for example, when you hug someone and your face touches their shirt or when you decide to change after doing your full face of makeup. The price point is a little high ($43) but to me it's worth it because it's an amazing foundation and my goal is to improve my looks while still appearing as natural as possible and this foundation is perfect for exactly that. Also, there is an amazing shade range, 40 to be exact.

Let me tell you, the hype is real. This foundation is super lightweight and makes your skin look airbrushed and totally natural. It's not incredibly pigmented so I usually use a significant amount when applying, but this is a special occasion foundation for me. There's something super sexy about the finish (if that makes sense) it's pretty affordable and can be applied with a brush or with fingers as it's very blendable. It's not the longest lasting foundation I've used and it DOES oxidize so it's a great foundation for a night out or a date night or any occasion that lasts for less than 12 hours. Finding the right color can be a challenge because there are SO many options and if you have neutral skin (like me) it's even more difficult. I currently use R260 but have had success with Y225 before and may consider changing the color next time I buy. Just sample a few colors before you purchase and you should be all good.

This is one of those foundations that I had such high hopes for but by the end of the day I couldn't wait to take it off of my face. This is definitely one of those foundations where you can feel it sitting on your face. This foundation is not oily skin friendly, as I went to blot my face throughout the day the blotting sheets took off some of the foundation. By the end of my work day, 8 to 10 hours, I could see multiple spots on my face where the foundation had completely worn off. It had began caking up around my nose and my smile lines around my mouth. To be such a high end foundation, it wore worse then a drugstore foundation. I'm not sure but maybe this foundation is only catered to those that have dry combination skin and not necessarily oily combination skin. So if you're like me, just avoid this foundation altogether and thank me later.

This is the foundation that I always go to when I do special occasion makeup for clients (I am not a professional makeup artist, but occasionally do it on the side through word of mouth). This formula seems to work incredibly well for most skin types and the shade selection is amazing. One layer will provide a good medium coverage, but is buildable and looks very natural. I never have problems with this looking cakey, even at the end of the day. It also lasts really well throughout the day, especially when used with a primer and/or setting spray (although not as well as the Estee Lauder Double Wear Light, which is what I use for everyday wear). It gives such a nice finish to the skin that isn't too matte or overly dewy, which is perfect for photography as the name suggests. This works well with both a brush and a Beauty Blender.

This is a decent foundation that will work for many people depending on how you apply it (brush or sponge) and what kind of primer you use. I commend MUFE for the 40 shades they offered long before doing so was popular. That’s why I chose this foundation actually- Y205 was the closest I could get to my alabaster skin. It’s about a shade or two too dark and the undertone is a bit off, but it was a thousand miles better than what I’d used before. Applied with a sponge, this looked nice on my normal to dry skin. It does set fast though so I would recommend the sponge. It’s not my favorite foundation ever but I still think it’s a very good one. I’ve known people with combination skin who’ve liked it also. I think the more dry and the more oily you are, the less likely this is to work for you.

Makeup Forever, FOREVER! This foundation offered me the complete coverage that i was seeking as well as not feeling too heavy or oily on my combo skin. I have a lot of oil in my t-zone and very dry cheeks, so finding a make-up foundation that doesn't 'move' around or feel like it sits on top of my moisturizer is very important to me. The biggest thing i like about this formula over other or less expensive brands is what i call the nail test. i play a lot with my hair, and if i scratch my forehead by the hairline; a foundation passes my test if my nails come back clean. There are so many bad products out there that wipe off in an instant, or leave yucky gunk under my nails when i touch my face. Or worse, transfer onto the paper/art that i am working on; or onto some of my more delicate blouses along the collar. Dry cleaning make-up doesn't always work! This foundation DOES NOT transfer when set properly with powder and a light mist of water/makeup setting spray. It dries nicely without leaving a filmy feeling; and looks flawless and smooth. Blends really well, doesn't leave settle into creases and looks extremely natural. Forget about it when it comes to pictures! Perfect skin, every time! This is great for in person and on film, and i always recommend this brand to brides for the gamut of their beauty needs, from rehearsals and parties to the big day and the honeymoon; i don't know what i would have done without it for my own!!! see less...

Does this foundation oxidize? Also I wear snow in Born This Way from Too Faced. Very pale and yellow undertone, does MUF have a shade to match?
