I've tried many foundations and have actually felt uglier with the foundation on than with it off, i reeked the MUFE hd and I liked it but wasn't sold on it. Then I tried a very expensive 54 dollar foundation that literally wore off in ten minutes. This foundation is honestly perfect. I get medium coverage with a pea size drop. It's easily buildable to full coverage. It feels like o have nothing on my face. It keeps me matte without any powder. If wears for 12 hours with no touch ups. It doesn't crease. It doesn't settle into lines. It doesn't look cakey , or like I have on foundation. It isn't so matte that it's noticeable. It gives you the look that you have right after you wash and dry your face. Clean, smooth, and flawless. The packaging in my opinion is better than a pump, I have more control over how much product comes out. I also don't feel like I am paying for packaging. I prefer simple, convenient packaging over fancy packaging that might break. I highly recommend. The price point is great. I honestly don't have any complaints
Obsessed. Obsessed, obsessed, obsessed. I actually haven't bought this yet, but the next time I make it in to Sephora I'm planning on it!!! I got this in those little sample containers for my daughter to wear during her dance recital, and it worked exceedingly well for her. But, she's just a kid, so she didn't need the rest of the sample. I decided to give it a try, and I am SO glad I did! I did use a primer underneath. It goes on full coverage, and blends super easily. Once it was on, I did the rest of my makeup and then set it with a drugstore setting powder, then went on my way. Even during the heat of the summer my foundation stayed put! I am very oily in hot weather, but this kept my face from looking like a complete oil slick! I just had to blot a little in the t-zone a couple of times throughout the day, and even if I hadn't it would have been OK. It doesn't feel heavy or uncomfortable for me, but it does feel like I'm wearing makeup. I am just such a huge fan of this!
I have fair, very oily, acne prone skin. This used to be my GO TO RIDE OR DIE. lol. I was skin matched at Sephora and recommended this foundation. I even repurchased it more than once. I work for 8-10 hours a day, and it is asking a lot from a foundation to last that long. But I noticed every night it would scale up (like wear off scaly, like a lizard). You couldn't notice from far away but when I looked at my face it was all over my chin and upper lip and it was so frustrating. The coverage was amazing for me though. Flawless and covered my redness and acne, but it didn't have the longevity I needed. Ever since I tried the Loreal pro matte I haven't looked back. That one is my favorite and it last for up to 12 hours depending on this Texas heat I deal with. Hope this helps whoever is looking into this foundation! If you don't need something that lasts all day you would love this for oily skin and great coverage.
Where do I begin! I love this foundation it's perfect for oily skin and combination skin users. It's a formula that's between heavy and light weight. You can layer this product on for it to have more coverage if you like as well! It keeps oily skin from getting oily all day. Especially when you spritz a face primer before or setting spray after. Not really the best product for dry skin because I've noticed it will tend to get patchy when I'm having dry skin and apply it. So I usually like this in the warmer months rather than the cooler months. But if you want to wear it and you had dry skin moisturize moisturize moisturize! You should already be doing this already but using a moisturizer and or face serum as well will really help the product to apply nicely. Love this product it also does not oxidize so that gives it 5 stars in my book already.
I went to Sephora and I got a sample of this makeup I like makeup that's not finished that doesn't make me look shiny this product is great I ended up buying the product I have it in shade 40 I have a yellow undertones so this makeup is great because it has that yellow undertones to help with my skin tone it's a buildable makeup it looks great I also purchased the powder for it so setting the powder on top of the foundation helps keep it on it's lasted all day I really like it a lot and it feels very nice on my skin I do have sensitive skin so it's important that I have makeup that feels good and it's not going to cause me to break out this product is amazing and it didn't transfer it didn't move stayed on all day #mycultclassics #mattemakeup #matte #foundation #flawless
No no no! I tried this foundation on my skin at Sephora with the help of an employee after many different foundations we tried. I felt bad that she kept having to find me new ones to try so I settled for this one. It looked decent but it did not cover very well. You needed multiple layers to get that full coverage feel. Although light weight, I could feel it on my skin. After wearing it for about half an hour, I noticed that it sticks to the dry parts of my skin and bring them out in an unflattering way. Every movement I made with my face made the foundation settle into the lines on my face. It transferred off onto my finger quite easily when I tried to reblend the lines. Needless to say I returned it!
I love this foundation, I purchased it at my local sephora store. it comes in a variety of colors and applies great with a dampened beauty blender. This gives me a great matte finish and helps to control my oil. The only downside is that if you are not careful it can get cakey if you use too much product and can look powdery. The other downside is the price I believe i spent about $39 before taxes for this foundation, however I feel that this is right in the price line for most high end foundation that gives good full coverage and wear. I am fairly pale as well so it was easy for me to find a good match. I would say this foundation is my second go to behind estee lauder double wear.
This is the first and only foundation I have ever found to completely match my porcelain skin. I love the way it covers my redness and unevenness in my skin tone. It is a very full coverage foundation, which I really need, but at the same time, it is build able if you wanted to go for an even fuller coverage. I get complimented on my fair skin multiple times every day because of where I work, and my skin wouldn't look so flawless without the help of this foundation! I've repurchased this for two years now, and plan on trying the newest version of this, the hd, as soon as my current MUFE mat velvet runs out! MUFE is definitely my current favorite in foundation.
I was recommended this product by a Sephora associate when asked for a medium to full coverage foundation that won't flashback in pictures as I was headed to a wedding. This product delivered; however I can only wear this product in summer when my sky is a bit more oily. In the cooler months my skin is intensely dry and sensitive and I find this product to draw all life out of my skin. The color match (3.0) is the most perfect color of any foundation I've had in my life! I'm light with neutral undertones and most are too obviously pink or yellow based. I should love to try another MUFE formula to see if it would work better for me.
This foundation is not my favorite by no means. It is not full coverage and is more of a medium buildable if that. When I tried building it up it would get rid of the product I already laid down and also would swipe away from my skin if I applied any concealer. It was matte on my skin but also it broke up on my face throughout the day on top of oxidizing. I wore Alabaster and it made me look like I was wearing 4 shades darker within an hour. It also wore off on my nose and accentuated the lines on my face even though I am in my 20's and don't have this problem. I wanted to love this product but I dont. Would not repurchase
