Is there a way to keep this foundation from making my combination skin oily after 4 hours?

Aside from using primer, which others have already pointed out, I’d recommend the MAKE UP FOR EVER Super Matte Powder. It is great, helps set the product and preventing it from getting shiny. If you’d like to powder throughout the day, I’d suggest you use the Palladio Rice Paper Powdered Blotting Tissues before.

I use Laura Mercier Translucent Loose Setting Powder on top of it and it works great.

To keep from getting oily I set with a matifying powder foundation (bc i don’t like translucent on top & I use rimmel stay matte), and on days i want a little extra security, I use a pore minimizing powder to set my face (I use the it cosmetic one since I got it in a subscription box) then put foundation and concealer over that and finish off with the powder foundation

I’m wondering the same thing🤦🏻‍♀️ This foundation seems to get oily so fast no matter which primer I use.

A good primer, try the MAKE UP FOR EVER STEP1 Skin Equalizer Primer and make sure you set it with setting powder and setting spray

Use a really good primer... I don’t have that issue, but I have heard that using a good primer and setting the face with powder helps.
