Review for: Soft Ochre more...
Hands down one of the best products for eye primer. This product was everywhere on youtube back in the day I had always wanted to see what the big hype was so I tried it. I love the formula it's creamy and long wearing. My shadows will not crease or budge when I use this. The only thing I dislike is the packaging: I wish it came in a tube. It comes in a small glass pot with a screw top lid. I use a small angled makeup brush to apply this the angled brush helps to get the product into the corners. The color Soft Ochre reminds of  NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer in custard which is what I used to use as a lid primer but it was crease city!

I get the best results when I apply soft ochre wait a minute and then set it using a  M.A.C Cosmetics 159 Synthetic Duo Fibre Blush with either  Laura Mercier Translucent Loose Setting Powder  or .

Love love love the Mac paint pots. I usually put the MAC eyeshadow primer on first, and then I always follow with a paint pot. My favorite color is the soft ochre. After that I start putting on regular eyeshadow. The combination of the primer and the paint pot makes any eyeshadow I put on over it last all day. It does not crease. Of course you can always wear the paint pots without other eyeshadow on top. M.A.C Cosmetics Pro Longwear Paint Pot

Review for: Painterly more...
As soneone who’s obsessed with YouTube beauty gurus, MAC paint pot in Painterly has been on my wishlist for years. I finally bit the bullet a few months ago and I’m so happy I did! Its truly as amazing as they say! It’s so creamy and pigmented, yet dries down without creasing and is long lasting. It makes for an awesome eyeshadow primer! My only complaint is I don’t like that it’s in a jar (I prefer tubes or pumps) though the packaging is very luxurious.

I started to use these as a pigmented base to make my eye shadow last longer, but now I use them as a primer to make my eye shadow not only last longer, but it intensifies colors I apply over it.  They are a great primer, they apply very creamy and dry down nicely to a long lasting powder.  I also find myself wearing them solo.  They even out the color of my eyelids, and I can just do a quick look, line my eyes, apply mascara, and I am out the door with a nice natural look.  I bought a few colors for a bit of variety.  I really like these, they are quite versatile.

I bought a couple of these on recommendation at Nordstrom. They were pretty pricey but you get a lot in the actual pots. Cute packaging but I found it hard to get the product out and as I continued to use I didn’t like having to choose a base for certain colors. I think if you have time to choose they would be great but I wasn’t really that impressed as opposed to a plain eyeshadow base. Good product and quality but I didn’t see this as a need.

Love love love! Painterly is the shade i use! It has a pink undertone (soft ochre would be for a yellow undertone) i put this all over my eyelid up until my brow bone, the product will last you forever no matter if you use it everyday! Personally i like it more than a clear primer because it covers my veins and will not crease a bit! Dries to a powder formula... They have other shades because you can use them as shadow not only like a base...

Definitely need to use a primer with these. If i don’t they will crease. Work fast because once they dry, you can’t blend them. I like to use these as a base color especially when using bright colors. Or use the dark colors and then put a color shifting shadow over it. I’ve had some for years, and it took a while before they dried out. One of my favorite cream shadows to use. I especially love the silvery “vintage selection”.

Review for: Soft Ochre more...
My favorite YouTuber recommended these paint pots in Soft Ochre, claiming this product as a lid primer helped keep her shadows from budging and looking vibrant and radiant! Of course I had to try it and have been obsessed with these pro longwear paint pots since!!! This product doesn’t crease and as you apply it, it fills in those fine lines, preventing your shadows from creasing and breaking up. Love this stuff!

I am a first time user of MAC paint pot. I purchased in shade painterly. I love this product! Works so much better than other products I’ve tried. I use as a base for my eyeshadows and it really makes my shadows pop and give them a very neat well defined look.

I love this product. I use this for my eyelids to prep them for shadow. I’ve seen reviews saying this creases.. It does when using a lot. If you use a little it doesn’t. A little goes a long way so it’ll last a while. Worth the money. Looks amazing. Easy to apply. I’d recommend and will be buying once I’m out.
