PRODUCT HIGHLIGHTS
  • "Mac eye shadows are very pigmented and long lasting. The colors are also very easy to blend to create the perfect look. Mac eye shadows are $15 which seems expensive but compared to other high end eye shadows they are on the cheaper side. I highly recommend Mac eye shadows and especially the shades Ricepaper and Jest. Review for: Retrospeck, I'm Into It, Ruddy more...
There are so many varieties of colors in the store, the first time I shopped in store I wanted to get all of them. I decided to go with the coral/red color with Retrospeck which gives a nice glitter effect to the inner corner and the lower lid. I would definitely recommend this to a beginner since the palettes are quite compressed, as in the color doesn't show that easily with 1 or 2 brushes. The colors are definitely there, it just takes a few brushes to show. Ruddy is a dark red matte color, I'm Into It is a more brighter shimmer red, and Retrospeck is a glitter/shimmer gold.

I have tried several shades and finishes of Mac single shadows and they're hit or miss. I picked my favorite shades to review. All of those shades are pigmented and smooth. They apply nicely and blend easily. They are staples in my collection but over the years many brands have come out with similar shades. I wouldn't recommend buying the eyeshadow in the packaging as they are over priced. Definitely get the ones in the pan and just put them in a Z palette.

The very first higher end eyeshadow I ever used and I used to love it to death. Not to say I don’t love it now, but as I ventured out to other brands these have become just basic. The pigmentation is there and it’s pretty easy to blend but I would say that it’s not the best out there. I do however commend their color range and I do still reach for these every so often. Overall they are great eyeshadows just not what I consider to be the best.

I have the single Mac eyeshadows. I have a bright teal blue, a matte dark blue, and a few others. I got them over 5 years ago and use it all the time and I haven't even gotten to the bottom yet. I do love Mac but can't always afford it. Still an amazing product.

Review for: Parfait Amour more...
MAC eyeshadows were my first prestige cosmetics purchase. Among the basic neutrals I had purchased, I decided to pick a shade outside of my comfort zone just for something fun and different. Parfait Amour was my wildcard. The low-res swatches I saw online circa 2006 just showed a very pretty pastel purple. What was in the pan was far more gorgeous than a photo could show.

This shade is a vibrant, Easter-egg purple in the pan, with a shimmer that ranged from violet to a cool-toned gold, giving it a depth that is pleasing to the eye. It applies the same way it appears, with a buttery feel and remarkable pigment. It’s simply beautiful. Considering I’d come from cheap, chalky drugstore eyeshadows, this shade in particular was revolutionary, personally speaking. I do not reach for it as often, but it’s still one of my favorites in my collection.

My favorite brand and the highlighting of the lighter colors always is terrific. At 50+ my lids are hiding a bit more and I live the lighter color under the brow to give a lift as well as a touch on the inner corner to brighten my blue eyes. Great rich pigment and a value as it lasts so long.

Soft brown is the perfect crease color. One of my go-to day looks is soft brown in the upper crease and satin taupe applied with a fluffy brush all over the lid, with shroom on the brow bone. It is a nice mid tone matte brown that would work on all different skin tones.

This eyeshadow comes in a variety of colors for whatever look you are going for. They go on smooth and blend perfectly. They last all day and do not seem to crease. I have been using this product for years and highly recommend it to anyone looking for that perfect eye.

Mac eyeshadow is excellent and has a formula that is super creamy and doesn’t have a lot of fallout at all. I love the color selections and love the option of a z palette or individual eyeshadows. Mac does a great job with their eyeshadow and I highly recommend.

I love that I can customize my own pallet with Matt shimmers sat in with the Mac eyeshadows. Their individual pans are awesome they are very good in a bowl and no patchiness I will buy again once I hit pan on any of them that I do it pan on
