PRODUCT HIGHLIGHTS
  • "The vibrancy of these pigments is truly amazing. My favorite way to use them, it to put a base on my lit, spray my brush with Fix+ then pack the pigment on. With a wet brush, the pigment is so sparkly and beautiful. " in 15 reviews
  • "These are pigmented, as one would expect, with a range of buildable color. They are seriously long lasting and slightly messy. " in 13 reviews
  • "I saw this pigment in a blue brown duo chrome and I had to have it. It hasn't failed me once. If I put it on Saturday afternoon and go out, It'll last until the uber ride home Sunday morning. It's shimmery and wonderful but a bit expensive. I would look for dupes online before making the commitment. " in 12 reviews
  • "I only owned two pigments.. Tan and melon and I love them.. Specially tan..such a pretty rose gold.. I use mine with fix plus.. " in 10 reviews
  • "i love mac pigments, all pigments in fact lol they are so much more pigmented than regular eyeshadows but mac ones are so much better quality, though the price is a bit steep " in 1 review

Review for: COPPER SPARKLE, HERITAGE ROUGE, PROCESS MAGENTA more...
MAC Cosmetics’ Pigments are second to none. They’re available in four different finishes: Matte, Frost, Pearl and Metal. I own the shades Copper Sparkle (super frosty copper flecks), Process Magenta (bright magenta), Rose (rose with copper sparkle - Frost) and Heritage Rouge (dirty brown plum frost.)

These highly concentrated loose color powders are incredibly versatile. They can be applied dry for a subtle look or wet for an intensified effect. You can wear the pigments on your eyes, face, lips or anywhere else on your body. They blend out nicely. As per MAC, their pigments are non-caking, non-streaking and long-wearing.

The price tag of $22 isn’t bad considering that a full-sized pigment will last you practically forever. I’ve never even run out of one of the minis!

The holiday season is a great time to buy these pigments because they usually sell mini size sets including limited edition shades. Currently, there are 44 permanent shades to choose from so there’s really something for everyone in this product line.

Review for: Pigment more...
Like most other Mac Cosmetic products this is absolutely amazing. What I mainly use my cosmetic pigments for is for highlighter. It's really in Trend right now and I absolutely love it so what I do is I take a pigment that is a nice shade for a highlighter which is whatever you like because highlighters can be almost any color and apply it to the most basic places that you would put highlighter. You can also use this as nice shadow and what I like to do which I just discovered is take about a tablespoon and put it in a bottle of MAC Prep & Prime fix shake it up and then you can spray it on your face whether or not you're going to be applying a full face of makeup and it gives you a really nice dewy glowy finish that I absolutely love. They have so many shades that it really covers anything that you want it has a good pearlized Shimmer high-quality and one bottle will last you for years even if you use it everyday.

Review for: BLUE BROWN more...
This is one of my favorite blue brown pigments.  I have maybe 18 different kinds from many different brands,  but good ol' Mac surpasses many of them.  This is better applied either over sticky primer with finger,  or over regular primer but with wet brush.  You'll achieve the same opaque glossy effect with both techniques.  Also this is spectacular over dark eyeshadow base,  it brings out more of the blue.  I would buy this pigment again.

MAC nailed the market when they introduced these over 20 years ago. There are competitors, some that do work as well but MAC is a classic and has developed so many shades that last forever so I easily give 5 stars. Almost all of them can be worn wet or dry and applied on the face, lios, eyes and body beautifully!
***NOTE- There are certain shades like PLATINUM that should not be worn on eyes and lips and it says so on the label so please read the info.

Review for: MAC Pro Pigment, Silver Fog more...
I often hate admitting how many MAC pigments I own when I think of the cost; but I have been collecting for 20 years and they do last forever! There have only been a handful that I don't think deserve a 5 star rating but Silver Fog isn't one of them. This is a lovely silver pigment...true to the intense metallic without duo-chrome or any reflects. It looks great wet or dry, in the corners of you eye, with a smoky eye, as a highlighter and more.

Review for: ROSE more...
My favorite pigments. I have a few pigments from MAC and I’ve had them for years. I haven’t even gone through half of them. There was a time when I wore Melon almost every single day and that lasted for about a year, still to this day I have a little bit more than half of the pigment today. I find that I have to use a glitter glue to keep them on my eyes though, but that it’s a the only drawback.

Review for: Pigment more...
There are so many shades and uses for MAC pigments that I can't write enough wonderful compliments here! I bought my first pigment, M.A.C Cosmetic Pigment in Frost about 20 years ago and I still have some left today. A little goes a long way, wet or dry, used alone or blended, as all over colour, shader, contour, highlight, lip colour and more!

I love Mac pigments they are so vibrant. Plus they have so many colors to choose from. I feel that they stay on longer than regular eyeshadow. They are affordable too. I love when the holiday comes around and you can buy the mini sets. That's the best time to buy them and try them out. I feel like they last a long time. A little bit is all you need on your eye lid.

Review for: MELON more...
This can be used wet or dry. I use it dry for any small areas around my eyes like the inner corner or highlight the brow bone. Its a beautiful shade. Its easy to apply but easier to use when wet. I would buy this again. You only need a little bit and it will go a long way.

Do these pigments require a base to get the maximum pigmentation? Is fall out common with this product? I'm looking for a good, beautiful pigment that lasts a while and doesn't have much fall out. Are these worth the money?
