This is my absolute go to. No one else sells a products like this that works. I love how it gets rid of the shine amd the coverage isn't heavy. The packaging is nice and great for travel.

I have been using MAC Pressed Blot Powder since the mid-90s. As you can see from the photos, I always have at least one for the house and one for my cosmetics bag - and I often hit pan. I wear the shade "Light". I am pale / very fair skinned with porcelain pink "cool" skin undertones. I have light blonde hair and green eyes. I apply the powder with a large powder brush for a light sheer application, and use a dense powder sponge on my t-zone areas and to touch up. The pressed powder compact is lightweight, but sturdy and includes a mirror inside. I have normal-to-oily skin (more oily in my T-Zone) and wearing a primer and UD's setting spray helps keep my MAC Studio Fix and Blot Powder firmly in place. It will last on me up to 8-10 hours. I love that it doesn't cake or settle into fine lines. A must for GenX skin! It is also perfect for mid-day touch-ups to absorb excess oil and shine. And it's great in humidity. I've lived in Tampa Bay and Atlanta in the last dozen years so that was a huge requirement. Now that I'm in New England, I also appreciate that it doesn't dry my skin out in the winter months.

I love Mac blot powder it absorb the oil on your skin and somehow refreshes the finish of your makeup without removing any layer of makeup on your skin and most important there is no flash back... It's a must have in your purse all summer long

Have been curious about this product for quite some time, and glad I finally purchased it. What I love about this product is it does what it says it will do; it absorbs excess visible oil and slightly blurs/smooths skin ensuring the result is naturally great looking finish to the complexion. I’ll admit I use this most on days where I’m not wearing foundation as it just evens out my complexion just enough and ensures that after my skincare routine I have a healthy matte finish my skin. This does work to set your makeup but there are longer wearing products and techniques otherwise to set with admiringly— does work fantastic as a touch up powder to keep on you and use throughout the day FOR SURE. I wear medium/deep and for reference I’ll list my foundation shade in the below brands: NARS: Barcelona (all formulations) LANCÔME: 420N (TIU liquid) ARMANI: 6.25 (luminous silk) MAC: C5 (face and body) MAKEUPFOREVER: 3N42 (HD new formula)

MAC's blotting powder has been my holy grail botting powder for years. I've tried other brands, but always come back to this one. I've purchased it in the shade Dark, but it is somewhat dark on me so I'll be purchasing Medium Dark next time. But, as someone who has an oily T-zone this has been an face saver and blots very well. So, give it a try!

This never got cakey looking no matter how many times you touched up! Best trick was to apply over liquid foundation, then brush on Studio Fix Powder Foundation for a seamless look that did not change the color of the foundation
