- "For my son's baby shower we got all different brands of diapers and wipes, huggies, pampers and the babies r' us brand diapers, (which were the worst and made me skeptical of buying any low price diapers after our baby shower supply disintegrated) so I would alway buy huggies or pampers from target when they were on sale, or they had a deal going on, but when he was turning one, i could not afford a box of huggies and I ended up buying luvs instead." in 21 reviews
These are a great example of "you get what you pay for". While they are quite a bit cheaper, we constantly has issues with leaks. Once they have any amount of liquid in them they feel wet to the touch and very squishy. Poorly constructed and all too often the entire velcro-fastener strip would rip entirely off the diaper. We realized pretty quickly that the amount of diapers that were wasted because of this was worth paying a little bit more for a better brand.
Ar first I liked these when my twins were in size 2 or 3, but now they are in size 4 and I have hated them since. They do not stay dry, and for boys they collect at the very top in the front and end up soaking up their belly button. I have many times had soaked onesies in the morning. I have went to other brands and came back to these a few times thinking maybe I had a bad batch, but they continue to dissapoint. I will not be buying these again.
This are great for my newborn and have never given me any problems at all ! They have a good amount of diapers per package and are also affordable and available at almost any store or pharmacy! I highly recommend this !
These are an okay brand. My daughter has sensitive skin and these caused irritation and a rash on her bottom. They are soft and hold a decent amount but we couldn’t use them due to the rash they caused every time.
These are my favorite diapers that I have used for both of my kids. For me personally they are just as good as the top brands. They fit great and they hold just as much as the others. I am not the type to let my kid walk around with a wet diaper so I change often so that may be why. The only downside with when your child is mobile the sides to stretch like the huggies so they get a little bunched up.
When my daughter was first born I bought the most expensive diapers I could find (figuring cost meant a better product. this was not true at all with luvs. These diapers never leak even when she sleeps through the night. The cost of course is wonderful too! The only thing I miss is that they don’t have the wetness indicator, even though you can tell by feel. I’d recommend these to any moms out there!
When my son was younger I would buy into the other brands (pampers, huggies, babyganics). Now that he is 2 I use LUVs more. He doesn't soak them as frequently and we don't have leak issues. The price is pretty good too. We also still use a night time type diaper at night when he has heavier soaks. Daytime we use these and we don't have any issues. I don't know how they would have held up when he was younger though.
I am 50/50 with these diapers. I used these when my daughter was 1 till about 1 and a half. Then I quickly noticed they weren't holding in the pee as good as they claimed. She would wake up soaked. I ended up having to switch brands. If you need to change diapers at in the middle of the night I think these are great but when they sleep the whole night these suck.
I have never been a fan of Luvs! They irritate my daughters skin so bad. I think the actual diaper smells like chemicals. I gave all of mine away from my baby shower and never purchased again.
I would prefer my son use LUVS. They are just as good as PAMPERS but they’re more affordable. You can purchase them at any store that sells diapers. In my opinion, LUVS hold more liquid than PAMPERS and HUGGIES Brand. Unlike the other brands, i don’t have to keep changing his diaper every hour because it’s too full. I would definitely recommend this brand.
