I never knew lemon pie filling in a can existed until recently. I found a lemon pretzel dessert that I wanted to make. I assumed it called for the lemon pie/pudding filling in a box. I hadn't read the full recipe until I got ready to make it. That's when I discovered it called for a 22 oz can of pie filling. So my daughter went to Walmart and to my surprise she found this product. If I knew this product existed I would have been buying it for all my lemon desserts. The pie filling in the can is so much easier. It has a great tartness to it too. The tartness from the lemon pie filling paired with the sweet center in the middle, then the salty pretzel crust was a perfect dessert. This pie filling is gluten free, no high fructose corn syrup, and non GMO. You get 120 calories per 1/3 cup serving. I will definitely be purchasing some more of this product. There is a couple of recipes on the can that I want to give a try.
