This foundation in the cool toned shade Alabaster is the closest shade I've found to match my skintone! It's very slightly darker than my skin tone, but it's much closer than the foundation I tried before. I'm super pale, with dry and sensitive skin & so far I have had no issues with it. It is a matte finish, and I don't notice any odd smell. I got the matching powder as well.

While I love Loreal this foundation did not impress me. I used 3 bottles of it before I switched to the Loreal Infallible Stay Matte. This made my skin so greasy. I think it secreted from my pores all day making my face look extra shiny.by the end of the day I could wipe my nose and forehead with a tissue and it would be full of foundation. No staying power for me, it literally felt like it was melting off as the day progressed. While they have a lot of colors to choose from so that you can definitely find your color it's just not for me.

The C1 Alabaster color is the best for my skin tone that I've ever found after years of searching. Being so fair complected there hasn't been much out there for us 👻 ly girls without giving an even whiter almost dead feel.

I LOVE the color and how it blends well with my other make up, however I'm not giving it a full five stars because it can go on cakey and show off my deep pores without the proper primer and concealer which aren't part of the same brand. At least that is the experience that I've had.

For being $10 or so it's not bad considering that True Match has done an amazing job having an array of colors for all folks. I just wish it had fuller coverage to cover up the dark circles under my eyes.

I stopped using this because I got caught up in trying other foundations. Last week I was organizing my foundations and rediscovered this and I'm in love all over again!!! I have oily skin so I usually use a mattefying primer under it and it works so good!!! It has really good coverage and u can build it up if u need to and it lasts almost all day!! I love the finish of it!! It's very natural and not one bit heavy or cacky!! I love the shade selection they have so finding the right shade is never a problem! My only complaint is the packaging I just which it has a pump or u could squeeze it out of a tube.

I LOVE this foundation! L'Oreal is the only brand that matches my skin tone. I have very pale skin with a pink under tone. Normally makeup for fair skin is too white/yellow in undertone and looks very odd on my face. L'Oreal's foundation perfectly matches my skin tone. I also have combination oily/dry skin and I used to never wear foundation as it would irritate my skin so much. This foundation is one of the few that doesn't aggravate my skin or cause acne. I would definitely recommend this item! It's a must-have for me!

To start with, let me tell you about my skin: I have combination skin and do not regularly use foundation. The main reason for this is that I can never find a foundation light enough for my basically transparent skin. I'm not just pale,I'm translucent. I found this foundation in CVS and picked it up for like $9 or so. When I got home,I tried it out and I will never go back. It is smooth and every time I wear it, people say I'm glowing. It gives just enough coverage that my face isn't heavy but still covers my blemishes. I love it. If you want to try it out, CVS has a 100% money back guarantee with their beauty products. So you can try it for a week and then decide if you want to keep or give it back!

I have oily-combination skin and unfortunately this didn't work as well for me. I know that some people rave about this foundation in the beauty community as an affordable alternative, but the coverage just didn't do it for me. The formula didn't go as smoothly on my skin either, but I'd be willing to give it another try if I got a sample.

Review for: Classic Tan more...
Ms. L'oreal was my first entry into foundation so this will always have a sweet place in my soul. I will admit it took three attempts to finally get my true match (tragic I know..). I started off with C6 which was too dark and cool toned, then W7 which was too light for my face, but matched my body (when your face is a shade darker..), and then W8 was somewhat dark for my face. I almost gave up until I saw Zoe Saldana's True match ad, since we have a similar skin tone and then I finally found my match in N7 Classic Tan. Once I did, the foundation blended in so well and looked very natural. My only complaint was it had no pump and disposed a little too much, so definitely get a pump. This is a good introductory foundation!

This is the foundation I am currently using. By itself it doesn't cover very well. I like how light it feels but I wish for more coverage. I recommend using a face primer and doing 2 layers of foundation for a full coverage look. Also I set mine with a power to help make it last longer. If I touch my face if runs off easily so the powder helps tremendously. This is an inexpensive foundation that will get you by. If you're looking for something light and not all that full coverage then you will probably like this foundation. I, however don't think it is all that great. There are definitely better foundations out there!

One of my all time favorite foundations. Seriously wonderful product sold at the drug store. It comes in a huge variety of shades, including cool, warm, and neutral tones and has medium coverage that is very buildable. I love that I can buy this in different tones/shades and mix them as my skin tone changes through the seasons. The finish is a solid satin-not super matte or dewy, but not drying at all. This foundation honestly beats several high end ones I've tried over the years. A solid staple in my collection and perfect for MUA kits!
