I bought this at my local CVS for $11.99, plus tax. I thought that was kind of expensive for a drugstore powder and then noticed that was it on sale. But the prices of drugstore products has been going up so, I wasn't surprised. I purchased the lightest neutral shade and intended to use it as a powder foundation. But, I ended up not being able to use it at all. The lightest shade was too dark for my super pale skin. In fact, it looked orange on me. On the plus side, it offers good coverage as a powder foundation: light to medium. It was pretty buildable. It also didn't break my sensitive skin out and it didn't have a strong fragrance that caused any allergy/asthmatic reactions. I give this a 3 star for those reasons. I would give it 5 stars if they had a shade light enough for me.

I purchased this powder to set down my foundation. I have extremely dry skin and it doesn’t seem to cling to bad to my dry patches. I believe it will work great for oily combination skin as well. It does hold my makeup in place all day too. They have different shades to choose from and depending on the shade it does add a little more coverage. I like to use this with a large fluffy powder brush and dust it all over my face to set down my foundation to get ready for other powder products so they blend well and don’t look patchy. Sometimes I use a darker color to contour my cheekbones. So it’s like you can get two products in one in some situations. Great product and highly recommend to everyone.

I originally bought N8 to contour on my medium skin(light medium over the winter) and it works great. I only have to dab it in the compact once, tap off excess, and apply to face with contour brush. It is super pigmented, so a little goes a very long way. I have pick axe scars and it kind of defines it, but if I tap it on, I was able to hide it. I've had it for months and I barely made a dent on it, with how pigmented it is.
I loved the long power of it so much that I just bought another one to apply over liquid foundation, W5. I apply YSL All Hours Foundation in BD40 with a sponge, tap W5 over it with a flat top brush, buff it in, and contour with N8. I dont like using the sponge it came in, since it retains most of the powder without actually applying it to your face, and the oils you pick up with the sponge can stick to the powder and harden it. No bueno.
W5 is way too light coverage for me to wear alone, since I have hyper pigmentation acne scars, so I spot conceal first for everyday wear. On my combination, textured skin, it blends well and stays on till I have to remove it by the end of the day. It is affordable, long lasting, and doesn't break me out. Awesome product. Would highly recommend

Although I use this product quite regularly, I’m not actually that pleased with it. My main reason for coming back to it again and again is that the color is perfect for my easily-tanned skin. I use the color W6 year-round, which is amazing for me. I have to say the matte texture is great, but it makes my pores look gigantic, and doesn’t layer well with any primer I have used thus far. Definitely looking for an alternative with my combination skin.

I had this that i didn't use very much because it wasnt my color but my partner is trans and uses makeup in his own way to accentuate his features in a more masculine way and it lookes phenomenal phenomenal on him. It evened out his skin tone without making him look like he was wearing makeup which is extremely important when it comes to being a trans man and wearing makeup and anything that can do that for him, gets my 5 stars.

This gives me pretty good coverage for a regular powder that's not intended as a foundation. However, I now find this pretty drying. Even though I have oily skin, I use retinoids which give me dry patches and flakes from time to time. Without a good moisturizer or hydrating primer, this came make the skin look incredibly dry. Best way to apply this is with a huge, fluffy powder brush and gently pat onto the T-zone. Adds a little bit of coverage and doesn't look dry or cakey.

L'Oréal Paris True Match™ Powder I love the compact size. It is very affordable compared to other powders. It has a good sponge that makes it easy to use. It is small and I do recommend it for the people to use

This is probably my favorite powder out there. While it is semi more expensive than other brands it is still an affordable drugstore product. The coverage is great, it really covers any blemish with a nice matte finish. It stays on and it is a quick fix when your day is winding down and your foundation isn’t looking so fresh, just throw some of this on and you’ll have a whole new look!

I actually does fit your skin tone. I think it's an amazing product, however, there are some setbacks. If I pair it with another fit me product, it makes me face look cakey and you can definitely tell I have powder on. Not a good thing at all. It works fine when I pair it with another foundation that's not L'Oreal. This is coming from a girl who only uses a little of everything.

I love this powder! Gives good coverage and doesn't look cakey! Easy to apply, I use a brush to put it on. Doesn't irrate my skin and the color match is pretty on point and matches my skin tone well! Reasonably priced, under $10. Easy to find and in most stores! I'm giving them a 4 because I wish this brand / company was cruelty free! Overall good product and great powder!
