L'Oréal Paris True Match™ Mineral Foundation
I have poor skin to begin with. With acne and dry skin, I need something that's going to work well and conceal. This stuff is amazing. It doesn't feel like I'm wearing anything at ALL. It's light and most people can't even tell I'm wearing it, until they get *real* close to see! I've gotten SO many compliments on my "perfect skin" .. but I'm sure not going to tell anyone the truth! heh. Thank you L'oreal!!
Review for: 3-L'oreal Bare Naturale Powder Foundation "472 Cocoa" more...
I have been using these powders for probably 10 years now. They're especially great in the summer months when my skin is more oily and the powder formula absorbs most of the oil. The only reason I gave them 4 stars is because I've noticed they can make my skin somewhat flaky in the winter months when I'm prone to dry skin. Overall though the coverage is great and they are very affordable. I highly recommend!
I bought the wrong color for my complexion so I don't use it much. Pros it is designed for oily skin. Cons it gets everywhere when I apply it and the brush that comes with it sheds all over my face. I have very oily skin. I am not sure that I would recommend this products to others.
I use this powder daily, I'm W7 Caramel Beige/Beige Caramel. I also purchased L'Oreal's True Match Super-Blendable Make-Up to use together. Bad idea in my case. I love the powder, I use Revlon's Colorstay Make-Up for Oily skin instead and it makes me look flawless. It doesn't crease, its not cakey looking and it lasts all day. If you have oily skin, don't worry it gives you a matte look all day.
This is the closest drugstore version of BareMinerals Foundation you will find. I have the translucent powder which is white and I put it on the bottom of my eyes to settle my concealer. It's fine and it looks natural. I like that it brightens up my eyes. I will definitely continue buying it in several colors. I recommend using a separate brush because the one it comes with is not soft or good at all.
The powder itself is great. Not too heavym gives you a nice color and a nice, natural glow. The brush on top, however is horrible. The bristles are stiff and set too far apart. It doesn't pick up any powder and it's just not very good. I just use my own brush when I use this powder.
Review for: Golden Ivory more...
Golden Ivory isn't the color I use but holy crap this is the best powder foundation ever. It has a very good amount of coverage for a powder, so much that I usually don't use concealer. It can be pretty drying since it's a powder but it doesn't come off very easily. Fave foundation ever
I have not used this exact color, I use the lighter one. I have used more expensive mineral makeup prior to trying this brand. This brand is just as effective in coverage and blending. I love that the brush comes with each new bottle, eliminating the need to search for a good foundation brush. I recommend this brand quite often.
Its usually difficult for me to find a pressed powder that accommodates my super oily skin and I'm disappointedvto say that this didn't help the matter at all. I definitely can say that it was gentle on my skin but if you have oily skin you probably won't really benefit from it.
I am shocked at the coverage of this mineral foundation. I tried it on my face (which is super red, dry, irritated and angry from topical creams prescribed by my dermatologist) without any primer and it covered extremely well. I was shocked. If you have dry skin, I would definitely use a good moisturizer and/or moisturizing primer with this foundation. This will be my holy grail daily foundation!
