I have had bad luck with foundations lately. I am the palest I have ever been and my skin is like the Sahara desert due to the weather. My normal holy grail foundations do not match me anymore. I’ve been on the hunt for a new foundation that matches my skin and is good for dry skin. I have tried high end and drugstore. So far I really like this lumi foundation the best out of any I have tried. Let me tell you though, this foundation is GREAT for dry skin. I don’t think it will work at all on oily skin. Oily skin people out there you will most likely hate this. I also bought the regular L’Oréal true match foundation in the same shade. I put that one on first. It accentuated every single dry spot and flakes on my face. I immediately took it off and put this one on instead since I read it was good for dry skin. You cannot see ANY dry spots or flakes. It also feels moisturizing on the skin. I even set it with a little powder and it doesn’t look or feel dry. It has a dewy finish and takes a long time to dry down. I set it with powder and it helps the dry down process. That can be a good thing because it gives you enough time to thoroughly blend the foundation. It doesn’t feel like I have makeup on either. I spray it with the make up for ever setting spray and it lasts around 6 hours. It does transfer a little but What foundation doesn’t. I can put up with a little transfer for this foundation. The only con I can see is there is a big gap in some shades. I wear W1-2. It is a good match for nc15. But the next shade up, w3, is a lot darker by at least two shades. So I am not sure if I can wear this once I am not pale anymore unless I mix colors. I also heard the warm yellow shades are good for olive tone skin. I know it is hard for fair-light skin olives to find foundations so I wanted to throw that out there.

I had to put a review for this product out there and I want to start off by saying that the only reason that I am rating it 4 stars out of 5 instead of a full five stars is simply because it's not my absolute top favorites from drugstore but it is one of my favorites if that makes sense. I have tried this both in this formula as well as they have the cushion version I find that the actual Foundation formula regardless of which when you get is the same. But to be honest I'm more of a fan of the one in the pup this one shown here than I am with a cushion as I find that I don't feel as though I'm getting as much product in the cushion one. Stop being said I love how many different shades they have out for this particular Foundation range. I also find that it has a medium buildable coverage and works really well with my other products. It's one of the only luminous foundations that I've tried and enjoyed because it's able to give me some of that nice luminous Inner Glow type of luck without having me appear as though I'm agree Spa some other one's kind of go overboard or don't have enough of that luminous to it this one is perfect. I have repurchase this multiple times and would highly recommend checking it out.

I actually have bought my second jar of this stuff. At first, when applied to the skin it looks absolutely beautiful and flawless. Like no joke, I was getting compliments on my skin all the time after a fresh application. Unfortunately, that flawless look only lasts about 2 hours before things start going down hill really quickly. It started to settle in my pores, fine lines, and I also started to make me look like a disco ball. Note that I have normal to dry skin, and I used this with multiple primers, all having the same results. I repurchased because you can slap it on with your fingers apply a little powder and go. It doesn’t take a lot of effort and blends beautifully. It’s one of those foundations I can wear if I don’t care about my makeup lasting a long time and just want to throw something on. Having said that, I haven’t worn it in a long time due to it settling in my pores so heavily. I will not repurchase a third time.

This foundation is highly raved about from beauty gurus, and I do believe it is a great foundation... but if you have the slightest bit of oil, fine liines or wrinkles, then stray from this foundation. My mother has tried this foundation because she has dry skin and wanted something luminous. The luminosity in this foundation enhanced her fine lines/wrinkles and took it off immediately. She passed it along to me to try. I thought I'd give it a fair shot, since I had heard people with oily skin have loved it. It was beautiful at first, but when my oils began to come through a couple hours later... blotting sheets couldn't even help me. If you have oily or mature skin, just pass on this foundation - however if you have dull or dry/normal skin texture, I think this foundation would be a great choice as the finish was beautiful.

Review for: Porcelain/Light Ivory, Nude Beige more...
I have mixed feelings about this foundation. On one hand, I absolutely love this stuff. My skin is dry like the freaking Sahara, and I have texture that could rival sand paper. That's attractive. That being said, this stuff makes my skin look smooth and dewy, fresh, luminous. I love it. It's the skin I wish I had. On the other hand... I bought W3 Nude Beige for the summer and it worked pretty well-- a touch dark, but I was too cheap to spring for the W1-2Porcelain so I could mix them. I decided, eff that, I'll just suffer(first world problems).

Then Winter came... W3 was hilariously orange on me. I looked like Donald Trump. So I ran to Ulta and looked for W1-2, which is literally just one shade. Not W1, not W2, but W1-2. And it's a HUUUUUUUUUGE(*YUGE) jump from that to W3, so I knew I'd have to either look for a different foundation or mix the two shades to match my skin, but I had already fallen in love with the Lumi. So... L'oreal, hook a girl up. Add a few shades into that range, hmm? That's a giant leap, and I'm not asking for much. Just not orange, and not paper. Something in between.

I am in love with this foundation! I found that this is very comparable to many high-end and luxury foundations! This make up has never looked cakey or greasy on me. If you are severely oily I would try to steer away from this foundation as it could make you look like that. For me it always makes me have a fresh face look and I love it. Also let’s talk about the price point it’s only five dollars and you literally cannot beat it! I would make sure to get the right shade because I got a too light shade and I had to make sure to warm it up with bronzer but it works just as good. Highly recommend and think you should go grab as many as you can at the drugstore! L'Oréal Paris True Match™ Lumi Healthy Luminous Makeup

I had the hardest time picking my shade. I have a neutral undertone, and there’s an option for warm, neutral and cool tones, but I felt like I could use them all. The neutral didn’t feel like a combination of the two, but a little warmer. I ended up doing with N3 and it’s a little more orange than I’m used to, but it’ll work.

I love the pump, it’s always nice. The packaging can get real dirty if you don’t wipe the end of the pump on your hand so be careful of that. It has nice coverage, light-medium. I don’t think you could build it up that much bc it’s so creamy. It smells like those cookies with the jam in the middle and coconuts. It definitely has a sweet, sun-screeny smell, which I love.

I purchased my foundation at my local target and it was quite affordable. I like that foundation initially leaves a nice dewy lit from within glow finish but only about two hours into wear my foundation started to break up around my nose and jawline area. I can understand it breaking apart in my normally oily area but my jawline is almost always normal/dry so I couldn't understand why it was breaking up there. I was really disappointed, I tried setting it using with or without different primers and I just could not make this foundation work for me.

Ive been on a hunt for the perfect foundation and It was a struggle but I've finally found it. This foundation gives your skin a beautiful glow. I use makeup forever translucent powder so its not so dewy but after that its perfect healthy glow. It makes my skin look so natural. This is a light to medium coverage. This stays on my face all day wout getting any weird texture. I will highly recommend to everyone to check out. This is amazing. I have went high end to this. This beats all of them and its so affordable.
