- "i haven’t really used this product as much and been having it since forever so i recently decided to start using it and i was amazed and confused as to why i haven’t been using this highlighter before it gave me such a natural but sparkly finish that i instantly fell in love with 😍 it blends so easily as well with no powdery after effect it’s just the perfect highlight for that soft glow or dress it up and have a night out either way this highlighter will do great wonders i highly suggest others to give this product a try !" in 25 reviews
- "i love this highlight a lot. it's definitely not an "in your face" highlight, but i gives a good glow. it lasts on me for a while, and i really like the subtleness it gives me on those natural days. i tend to use different highlighters on top of this, but when i want to use it on its own, i can build it up to where i want it to be. i always get compliments when i wear this." in 25 reviews
- "i've seen this reviewed negatively in various places but i love it. on very, very, very fair skin like mine, it's a gorgeous highlight. the glitter migrates a bit but since i only apply a small amount to the tops of my cheekbones, the slight migration down my cheeks doesn't bother me at all. it's obviously not as great quality as a high-end highlighter but for the price, it's freaking fantastic. my one real complaint is that it's rather expensive for a drugstore product. if you don't have a serious makeup hoarding problem like i do, it's probably worth saving up the extra $10-15 and getting something like the balm's mary lou-manizer. but if you have a burning need to try it and you're as pale as i am, do it! - "i reallllly love this product. you kind of have to layer it a little bit if you want that intense glow but it does do the job. i also use their liquid illuminizer and then this on top of it to have a very dramatic look. but for a drugstore highlighter i swear by it." in 12 reviews
I bought this in rose after seeing a YouTuber use this in a tutorial. At first I really liked this, because it provided a really soft glow that didn't look too metallic or unnatural. But overtime, as I started to get past the surface of this powder, I noticed a shift in the texture from soft, pearly highlight to an increase in glitter. I personally HATE glittery highlights, so after giving this a fair shot and trying to work through it, I finally threw it out. I just couldn't handle the glitter fallout on my face and constantly looking like a middle schooler who had just discovered body glitter. I won't be repurchasing this, especially since I discovered wet n wild MegaCushion Highlight.
This is a fun highlighter! The colors closely resemble each other but I find the darkest to be too dark to use. It is also heavy on the visible glitter factor. I do prefer a smaller less visible amount of glitter and more metallic sheen. You can see the individual glitter specks in this vs seeing a swipe of sheen. The colors are pigmented and it does last awhile. I use the lightest of the palette to do my Cupid's bow highlight. The mirror underneath is amazing and a wonderful size!! Separate from the powder so it never gets dirty! Purchased at Walgreens! L'Oréal® Paris True Match Lumi Powder Glow Illuminator
I purchased this product on a whim and it wound up being one of my most favorite drug store finds! It's very affordable and it's so perfect if you're going for a natural glow. It's perfect for day time errands or a night out. I would definitely recommend it to others. It does not go on thick or chalky. There is not an overload on chunky glitter in the product which is always a great thing. I did not think I was going to love this product as much as I do! I tried the rose set and the bronze set....both are perfect and depending on how tan I am I switch between the two!
After using this highlighter for the last few months, I can honestly say that I love it! I love that there are four shades to choose from depending on mood or desired effect. This has become my every day go-to highlighter. I like to use the top shade on the inner corners of my eyes and the purple-ish shade for cheek bones. The pinker or peach shade I use when I don't want a whole lot of effect for the day, like just going to work. For an inexpensive product it is great!
I have had a love/hate relationship with highlighters. I LOVE this highlighter collection. I don't think that the blush is pigmented enough for me to use as a blush however I can use them for eyeshaows so tis not a total waste. The highlighters are stunning!!! The white one is blinding and the peachy color is perfect for a natural glow. The packaging is a beautiful rose gold color too. Con: I hate hate hate the brush that comes with it. It is too hard and too small to use for the handle.
Meet the first highlighter in my collection. I wanted to start off with a drugstore one because I was new to the highlight trend and didn’t want to spend a ton if I didn’t like it. Well, years later and I’m crazy about highlighters! That being said, I still enjoy this product, it has a beautiful golden glow on the skin. I just have others that I now like more! I really love to use this in the summer when I’m tan, too!
I was so disappointed with this highlight! L'Oréal products are so hit or miss. This had a really chalky consistency-not pigmented or buttery at all. Do not waste your money on this. If you want an awesome drug store powder highlight, go for the Essence pure nude highlight-dead ringer for the Laura Mercier matte highlighter, OR the new highlight palette by flower beauty is bomb!
So this is my first foray into drugstore highlighter - I tried this because the CVS didn't have the Wet'n'Wild I was looking for. Anyway - this is NOT intense, it's wonderfully subtle. No chunky glitter, no fall out, no overwhelming "wet" look. This is not an ABH dupe, nothing unicorn-like. It creates a natural-looking, subtle glow. I recommend this as an intro to highlighter or for those looking for a less fairy-like appearance.
