  • "I have almost all of these shadows in my collection and I can definitely say that these are one of the best eyeshadows I have ever used from the drugstore. They have a great shade selection which includes matte and shimmer shadows and they all have amazing pigmentation no matter what finish or color you decide to purchase !!! They are powder shadows but while I was swatching them they felt really creamy and while applying them to my lids they blended out so great. They also last a pretty long time with no fallout !! They compare to some of my high end eyeshadows but for half the price !! I recommend these 100% if your looking for some inexpensive shadows or if your just looking for some good new shadows to add to your collection . " in 51 reviews

I received two of these in the L'Oreal Paris Voluminous Voxbox, in Paris Beach and Pain Au Chocolat. The latter didn't show up well enough when I used a brush, for some reason, but when I used my finger it went on fine. Pain Au Chocolat is such a pretty, shimmery brown. Paris Beach was nice as a base for me since it is so light. I put these over eyelid primer and haven't tried them without, yet. The eye shadows went on smoothly; they're very soft and pigmented. They blended very well for me. I like these a lot and was shocked at their low prices since they're such a great quality!

I got two shades (Paris Beach 200 and Pain Au Chocolat 207) in a Vox Box a while back, and I am split on them.
I am giving them 4 stars strictly because of Paris Beach. I like this as a base for my eye makeup or for a natural look. However, I LOVE it as a brow bone highlight. I will be buying this just for that when I run out of the one that was sent to me. I personally don't have any issues with the formula on this one or find it chalky.
Pain Au Chocolat is another story. I was so excited because the color looked SO pretty, but it has no pigmentation. I have to pretty much stab my brush into it to even get anything on the brush, and when I go to apply it basically blends out to nothing. I basically just use this now in the middle of the eyelid to give a little shimmer. That's the only way I get any use out of it.

One of the best drugstore eyeshadows on the market. The mattes are matte and the satins have a nice sheen to them. They are extremely pigmented and you cant go wrong with any of the shades available. The packaging isn't that great but you will be surprised once you try the product. I would definitely apply this over a primer just to ensure they will last all day but I do not think they need one. They have a beautiful texture that is similar to a powder gel mixture, kind of like Make Up For Ever Artist Eyeshadows. Overall a great buy!

In terms of color, this is really a color you have to swatch in person to see how beautiful it is. It's a medium brown with some sort of iridescent lilac purple sheen. It's just... just stunning. Please check this one out. }{ In terms of formula, these are incredible shadows. Soo soft and soo smooth. They apply like a dream to the eyelids, and I'm still in shock that these are 5$ each. These are one of the best eyeshadow formulas out there and not just for the price, imo. LOVE the formula.

In terms of color, it is actually lighter than pictured. It's a light neutral-to-cool brown color that is perfect for a transition color on NW15 girls like me. }{ In terms of formula, these are incredible shadows. Soo soft and soo smooth. They apply like a dream to the eyelids, and I'm still in shock that these are 5$ each. These are one of the best eyeshadow formulas out there and not just for the price, imo. LOVE the formula.

I purchased the L'Oreal Paris colour riche monos eye shadow in the shade pain au chocolat and the formula of these are honestly comparable if not better than all of my urban decay eyeshadows or any other eye shadows that I have tried for that matter which is honestly saying a lot because I have tried very many! I would recommend this shadow to literally anybody because they are the creamiest shadows that I have ever tried!

In terms of color, the color is much much paler than pictured. It is more of a cream-like off-white with strong pink undertones that is matte. Received this in my Voluminous VoxBox for free from Influenster for testing purposes! It is even more beautiful on then it is in the compact. It has a similar texture and consistency as Colourpop shadows in my opinion. This is best applied using your fingers instead of a brush. I apply it to my primed lids with my finger then use my blending brush to blend it out. I never would have tried this if it wasn't for Influenster!

Review for: Paris Beach more...
This is a pretty color but it comes out a LOT lighter/cooler on my skin than it appears in the pan. It's very creamy.. Almost too creamy, it's kind of a pain to blend. I would have used this as a base shade if it blended better. It is a great highlight shade for under the brow bone though. I will definitely be using it for that in the future.

Does this tend to crease in the warm weather? I've been running into that more and more lately in cheaper eyeshadows.

I think this new loreal eyeshadow is absolutely beautiful! I was just wondering, for anyone that's tried it, how does it measure up? Is the pigment as nice when applied as it looks in the package? Does it stay on well?
