Review for: Natural Buff more...
I picked this up because I was looking for a good full-coverage foundation that meets my skin needs (thirsty yet slightly oily, with some mild sun damage and fine lines). On first impression, I like how it comes in a nice squeeze tube that can be easily applied directly to a sponge, your finger, or a foundation brush. I also really like how L'oreal puts a nice little chart on the back (see photo) that tells you exactly what you are getting in this product and how to use it. Awesome!

The applicator has a fine tip which is really nice when you only need a tiny bit, for example when you are covering some acne spots. I applied the foundation at first with my fingertips, then blended it using a sponge. The attached photo shows the foundation applied fairly thinly. If I had gone thicker my spots would be gone. It is thick but not too thick where it can't be blended easily.

The coverage is really nice. I have issues with foundation not quite covering all of my sun spots, and this one got pretty close to hiding them all which makes me this this would work well if you needed to cover something dark, such as a tattoo. After a few hours of wearing it, I noticed that the makeup started to "crack" a little bit on my skin, settling into my pores. I was able to buff it away using my fingers but if I didn't happen to check the mirror and fix I would've been mortified if I knew I went the whole day looking like that.

There was also a very subtle shine which is likely my skin's normal oil showing through but I just wanted to mention that if you have oily skin. At the end of the day, my makeup was still there, but definitely needed a little touch up. I think if I had applied my L'Oréal Paris Studio Secrets™ Professional Magic Perfecting Base I wouldn't have had that issue and will do so the next time.

Overall, I really love this foundation for the coverage and way it makes my skin feel, but I will need to make sure my face is primed first to take full advantage of the longwear ability.

Sooo I picked this up accidentally when I was really going for the pro glow. Not sure how I screwed that up, but nonetheless I thought I’d try it.

From the beginning this product turns me off. The packaging is difficult, it’s a squeeze tube with no pump and you have to squeeze quite a bit to get product out of the tiny opening.

Secondly, the consistency is a bit weird. It comes out thick but not smooth, and while it does cover A LOT, it also accentuates every texture or pore on your face. Now several full coverage foundations do this, and so if you’re used to it that may not bother you. But I hated how my skin looked so matte and fake, as I’ve been into more of a glowy look as of late.

I will say the final product looked good and the foundation photographed well. But I think I’m going to have to mix it with a lighter coverage liquid foundation to see if I can dial back the look a bit, because it was a bit much for me.

This is the worst foundation I have ever used. After application it looks awesome initially. You have to use a good primer because it oxidizes and quickly becomes blotchy without. You absolutely can not wear this if it’s raining or if you may sweat. Any liquid that touches your face will remove all product from that area. The day I tried this foundation it had started to drizzle when I walked to my car. When I looked at myself in the rear view, there were full streaks and spots where all make up had washed away from tiny raindrops. This was a 10 second walk to my car in very light rain. I tried the makeup again for work, where I sweat and I had to wash my face mid shift because my face looked ridiculous after lightly sweating.

I was really disappointed in this foundation. Loreal makes the best of the drugstore brand foundation. I used the infallible matte long wear foundation for years and when this came out, I decided to try it. It marketed itself as total coverage and long wear and it didn't live up to it's selling points on my face. It apply my foundation with a brush and then use a blender sponge to dab excess off to leave a lighter full coverage. This felt thick and heavy even after that. It started to wear off after just a few hours and by the end of the day, I had big patches of my face that was without any foundation. It made my face look horrible by the end of the day. Idk if it was just my skin or if it's the product but I didn't like it.

I've only worn this a couple of times as I'm trying to finish other foundations. Every time I wear this I am impressed with how my skin looks. It's a bit more full coverage than the other ones in the line so I was nervous I might not like it because I tend to like lighter coverage. Out of the 3 I would say this is my favorite. It makes my skin look really nice without it being obvious that I'm wearing foundation. Also when I bought the other two they didn't have this shade creamy natural which is such a great shade for me. I notice they've added the shade the pro glow but not the pro matte. Hopefully they'll add this shade to the matte line so I can retry that foundation.

I'm so glad to see that this product actually has higher reviews and I expected because this is a good brand; but this product... Not so much! I actually had a friend give it to me because they didn't care for the product and the first couple times I try this product I didn't like how thick it was it felt like I can already tell it was going to be cakey before I put on my face but then I was like okay actually it's got to kind of thick and creamy feel so maybe it won't be so bad and when I put it on at first I was like okay this actually feels pretty good I didn't see the coverage but felt like I was wearing way too much Foundation after a while of wearing it. Again the brand is nice so I would recommend the brand but I would not recommend this product.

Just purchased and tried out this foundation last night. I wore it to a party. I had it on for about 8 hours. The formula is extremely thick! I tried first applying it in small dots all over my face and then using my Sigma F80 to blend it out. That did not go well at all. The foundation was way too thick, so then I decided to use a dampened sponge, that worked a ton better. I have combination/oily skin with large pores and acne scars (pock marks). I have had tons of trouble finding any foundation that doesn't separate, or just sit in my pores. This product did do that, but it wore a lot better than many of the other foundations I have tried.

The L’Oréal infallible total cover foundation was kind of a disappointment for me. I wanted so badly to love it, and after reading rave reviews I thought surely it would be awesome. First off the color selection was horrible when it came to picking a shade. Then the product itself was very thick, and hard to blend. It clung to every dry patch, and it caked up really bad in the corners of my nose, and all around my mouth as well. It definitely was very full coverage which was great, and the makeup lasted for a long time also. Overall it was a let down for me though. 13$ wasted basically!

Got to be honest, this foundation made my skin look very flat. It goes on like a mousse and though I suppose it does cover well it is very mask-like. Maybe I am just not skilled enough to use it, I think it would work best if you blend all the way down your neck, maybe even to the chest-- it does say for use anywhere on the body. I think it would take a lot of contouring, blush, highlighter etc. to make the skin look real with this foundation. Part of my issue could have been my shade and the fact that I am just so pale, maybe it would work better for a different skin tone. It just didn't work great for me. It looked very thick on. It didn't FEEL quite as thick though, the mousse factor did give it an airy nice consistency which made me want to like it, especially at the price point.

*i apply with a damp beauty blender* I was so disappointed with this foundation. It feels super tacky and gross on the skin if you don’t set it with a bit of powder. And it oxidizes very orangey And is patchy and streaky. It claims it’s full coverage but it definitely is not. I have to use a lot of concealer to cover my freckles, dark circles, etc. The foundation alone is a very light coverage. And it sweats off very easily. I’ll have it on and set it really good with powder and spray but the second I begin to get a little sweaty it comes off.

How full coverage is this? I have had acne problems my entire life and I have to have full coverage. Also does it oxidize at all? I have very light skin and need to be careful.
