Review for: Natural Buff 103 more...
This is suppose to be a dupe for Estée Lauder doublewear. Estee Lauder double wear is a strong favorite of mine. I also love IT cosmetics regular B.B. cc cream and the new Matte Formula.
I have used the CC cream by IT Cosmetics in Medium for years now. I have a little redness, sun spots, get a little oily in my t-zone. But I have regular known combination skin. Consequently, I've had a really hard time finding the right foundation that covers the redness/dark spots, combats the oiliness, and doesn't cause me to break out. ( in the hot humid months) I have been hearing the hype over the Infallible Pro Matte foundation for some time now and decided to take a chance and try it. I'm currently using Natural Buff 103 and even though it looked orangey out of the tube, it blended very nicely into my skin. I use a damp cosmetics sponge from Real Techniques to apply it and I'm careful not to over apply so it doesn't get cakey which is no different than any foundation. I sometimes use my Pore Fessional from Benefit underneath but I don't necessarily see a significant difference. I am surprised I don't notice any significant oxidization with this stuff so my makeup still looks the same at the end of the day. I do need to use a face blotting paper after around 5-6 hours but I don't need to add any powder. I'm good for another 3-4 hours after this. I do keep this away from my under eye area since it seems to accentuate my fine lines a bit. I've tried to use the Infallible Pro - Matte powder in Nude Beige to set this foundation but it was too light for me. I'm ordering the next color up and hopefully this will work. I currently use Laura Mercier loose powder to set. I don't particularly like feeling a ton of makeup on my skin. I find this stuff actually covers more of my redness and dark spots than my IT CC cream ( regular) and Ive noticed I use a lot less concealer which also keeps my face from looking cakey. I really like this foundation. I especially like the price.

I have a love hate relationship with this foundation! I love how it is on my skin the first few hours when it’s on but I have really oily skin so it breaks it apart from nose and it starts looking cakey and patchy on my nose! On the rest of my face, it looks really good and has a nice soft matte finish to it! It looks so smooth and not dry at all! Since this is a matte foundation you really have to work fast with it and I recommend you use it on parts and not put foundation all over at first! It will dry down on your skin if you don’t blend fast! I like to use brushes and sponge but this foundation doesn’t work so well with brushes but it works awesome with a wet sponge! You do get what you paid for but there could be some improvements!

I got the 24hr full coverage version of this foundation and fell in love! Ive used a bunch of different brands and type of foundation and so far this is my favorite. It does have a thicker consistency being full coverage but it doesnt feel heavy. It covers everything! Especially with a good blurring primer. There's no strong scent and it not drying. I use the shade 301 classic ivory which is a fair shade. It might be half a shade too light for me but if I use a powder over it it's perfect. I would only recommend to ppl looking for full coverage.

So I tried this foundation because I wanted to see if there was a difference between the pro matte and the pro glow I got the exact same shade that I am in pro glow which it 209 Caramell beige but in the pro matte The shade ranges are significantly different from the pro glow the pro glow bottles are true to color the pro matte Aren’t they’re all kind of too late or the bottle approach phrase it as being a lot later but long story short when I got home and I put on their shade it was way too light I just don’t think those shoes it should not match even if they have the same number and the same name just because once radiance foundation and one’s a matte foundation

okay so I am 42 years old and starting to get those small wrinkles, age spots and fine lines. I watched and read so many positive reviews on this foundation and the full coverage. With my age I was concerned It may look to cakey on my face but I thought for the price what the heck I need to give this a try, and I love it. I have combination skin where I am dry in my t-zone. This did not feel heavy, did not make my face dry or oily. It blended out well with a sponge and my aging skin looked flawless. This is a great drug store foundation and this is what I currently wear on an everyday basis. I have had friends and family members comment me on how good and glowing my face looks. Of course I had to share my secret.

when I say I get compliments on my skin everytime I wear it I am not lying!!!! This stays and sits so nicely on my face and looks like a hundred dollar foundation. This is my go to foundation when I run into the drugstore and I am a repeat buyer. I love l’oréal so much but this foundation is hands down the best matte foundation that any drugstore can offer! Like I said sooooo many compliments every time i wear it. I’ve gone through probably 30 tubes at this point, i’ve been wearing it since it came out.

I have combination skin to an extremity on both ends of the spectrum: oiliness with dry patches in the same areas. On top of that, I started a new job where I sweat like crazy, which makes my typical day-to-day foundation practically melt off. Because my favorite foundation is nearly $40, I didn’t want to waste it for work. That’s where the L’Oreal Pro-Matte foundation comes in.

Upon initial application, I wasn’t exactly impressed. It looked and felt like any other drugstore foundation I owned. It wasn’t until I looked at my makeup in the car at the end of my shift (in natural light) when I was in shock. My foundation had not separated, and though I had the slightest bit of oil around my t-zone, this foundation withstood my time at work. As an added bonus, this foundation truly blurred my pores.

There are a few things I should mention that I did not love about this foundation. The shade range is not the best, and I have to mix a white foundation into my shade in order to make it fit my skin tone (but I am used to doing this). While this foundation does an excellent job at blending the looks of pores, it is not good at smoothing over imperfections. Any breakouts I had were not covered by this foundation, and I had to pile on the concealer.

Overall, this is an excellent day-to-day foundation at a great price point.

This definitely has coverage--I'll give it that--but it looks horrible on my skin.  I tried this when my skin was at a very oily stage and I was seeking a mattifying foundation that would stay on my skin and reduce the amount of shine but this foundation was over-the-top for me.  It felt heavy and looked far too masklike on me; I was ready to wash it off long before the end of the day because it felt awful.  I tried to make it work but this is a definite "pass" for me.

The price is nice. I like paying $12 for a foundation. I like the formula. It has a nice matte finish and it’s lasts for a good 3/4 of the day. 6 hours give or take. By the end of the day I was oily again but it was pretty hot too. I hated the color though. They didn’t have 099 as an option on this app, but it is the lightest shade and it’s incredibly orange. If I wear this alone I feel like Donald trump. My coworker didn’t notice but I did. I felt aweful all day. I have the N0.5 from their True Match foundation and it is my perfect shade. I want them to open up the shade range on this foundation too. I did mix this with the N0.5 foundation I have and using my Luxie Pro air foundation brush I was able to get a decent look from it. Definitely can’t use it alone though. I’m guessing that their deep shades leave something to be desired too but I can’t speak for them. I will say that this foundation does dry out your skin a bit so if you have dry or combo skin this may cause you issues. I do absolutely love love love that this foundation has a safety seal on it. People at Walmart and drugstores will open whatever they feel like and put their germs hands on it. Having a safety seal peak up at you when you take the cap off is a huge blessing. The pictures in the orange jacket is the foundation alone. The pictures in the purple and the black are the mix of the true match and the infallible.

This foundation works so well for combination skin! It feels really light, but covers so well. This is a matte finish, but doesn't look dry or cakey and it doesnt settle into lines or pores. I feel like it's pretty buildable if you want heavier coverage.i do think they could use a better variety of colors. I can get close enough to mine by mixing colors. Overall, I highly recommend this to combo or oily skin types. Dry skin types should try the dewy version of this!
