Review for: Iced Latte, Endless Pearl more...
These eyeshadows had absolutely no pigmentation. I found that while they swatched well on the finger (Iced Latte seemed a bit crumbly on the finger, but that's in a heavy swatch), they did not show up on the eyes when I applied them with my finger. I could not pick them up with a brush either, which would be essential for darker shades. I bought these myself. I would recommend other drugstore single eyeshadows over these.
Review for: Amber Rush more...
The color Amber Rush is gorgeous! I bought this at Walgreens after hearing great reviews, and it did not disappoint! I've had this eyeshadow for a while now and I love the texture and color payoff. It's shiny but not too crazy that you couldn't wear it everyday. It's easy to apply with your finger and it blends out easily, so it's a good, affordable option.
Review for: Continuous Cocoa, Smoldering Plum, Eternal Black, Golden Emerald, Bottomless Java more...
This is probably hands down the best drugstore eyeshadow out right now and has been for a while. I really do enjoy single eyeshadows because they are more travel-friendly to me. The packaging in this one is unique; a little cumbersome, but functional for the product. Every shade is incredibly pigmented and blendable. The reason I gave it 4 stars is because the price point is a bit high for a drugstore product. Also at this time L'Oreal is still conducting animal testing, so though I would like to purchase more colors I won't be doing so until they stop testing on animals and finally go cruelty-free. When they do I would like to see them release more shades. Especially more matte shades.
Review for: Iced Latte more...
I absolutely love the shade "iced latte"! I normally work from palettes, but my favorite highlighting color had run out, and I needed an individual replacement. This product worked perfectly! It's a beautiful neutral that has a shimmer that makes your eyes look so bright and awake. I've used it every day since I bought it!
Review for: Eternal Sunshine more...
I was really surprised at how well this eyeshadow worked and how great the color payoff was! I purchased the shade Eternal Sunshine and I love it. It’s a beautiful golden yellow shade, and it’s perfect for summer when you want your eyes to be the star of your look. It is a metallic/glittery eyeshadow and it really sparkles in the sunlight. I found that it is best to use your finger to apply it to the eyelid as you can really pack the color on and build the color up easier that way. It’s a nice creamy eyeshadow but dries like a normal eyeshadow. It’s the perfect pop of color on the eyelid, almost like a gold highlight for your eyes.
Review for: Amber Rush more...
I really loved this eyeshadow. It was the perfect color for my eyes and skin tone. It went on smoothly and didn't require much to get the look I wanted. Hours later my look was still flawless and didn't require any touching up. I'll definitely be buying more and taking advantage of the other shades.
Review for: Iced Latte, Amber Rush, Always Pearly Pink more...
These are a little bit pricey because they are single eyeshadows but they are really nice eyeshadows. I think that these are superior to a lot of other traditional drugstore brands but now there are a lot more brands that are coming out with great affordable shadows as well, though these ones still are great. They're all shimmery eyeshadows. They're very pigmented and blend beautifully, the shade iced latte makes a gorgeous highlight shade.
Review for: Golden Emerald more...
I absolutely adore this eye shadow formula! I have the shades "Always Pearly Pink" and "Amber Rush" and love them both. "Always Pearly Pink" is definitely more of a pearly sheen than "Amber Rush", which I find to be more metallic. While the formula is beautiful, long-wearing, and easy to apply, I do find that I MUST use a primer with them otherwise they crease. (Just about everything creases on me though, except for some cream shadows.
Review for: Iced Latte, Golden Sage more...
I love these shadows! They perform just as well, if not better than my high end shadows. They are super metallic and lasts! no fix+ needed! They come out the same color on the eye as they look in the pan. One thing though, they come with a pan to put on top to keep the shadows pushed together and if you lose that and drop it your out of luck! the shadows crumble and it's basically impossible to use again.
