There is a much more expensive brand of this same item that we all know about. However, lodge does it just the same and at a WAY more affordable price. I am shocked by how beautiful this looks on my kitchen stove and how durable the item is for the price. Winner winner, chicken dinner.

You definitely get what you pay for with Lodge! The enamel makes it easier to maintain. I throughly believe everyone should have a big Dutch oven at home. The recipes you can make are endless, from soups to homemade bread. It can go into the oven without preheating no problem! I would definitely recommend this to everyone
