Lodge cast iron is reliably great quality. I love the the entire thing is cast iron, no stainless steel, plastic, etc pieces. This way, the whole thing can go in the oven no problem! This will last a lifetime and more

Lodge cast iron products are the best. I use my Dutch oven and skillet almost daily. The product is very well made. The thickness of the oven is perfect for evenly distributing the heat, with no hotter or cooler spots. I avoid cleaning any cast iron with soap. InsteadI thoroughly rinse it with very hot water. I also make sure to leave a thin coating of peanut oil on the surfaces to avoid rust. I make loads of stews and soups with the Dutch oven and have found some incredible recipes online. The products Lodge make are built to last forever as long as they are taken care of.
