I used to smell this on someone at my work and it immediately transported me (like Anton Ego when he takes a bite of Remy’s Ratatouille) back to nighttime in February when you come over the hill from Burbank back into Hollywood and the whole city is so perfumed with night-blooming jasmine that it makes you giddy. You kind of can’t walk up to a elusive jasmine bush and smell it and get the same effect, but it’s still everywhere in the air and it makes you blithe or carefree but in a good way. I looked up the notes and jasmine is in it. I couldn’t afford the perfume but I bought the perfume and it’s just as good. It’s really so nice.
