Lise Watier Eye Shine Eyeliner

I have 10 of these eyeliners and I love them all! The formula is amazing. They are very creamy and glide on very smoothly. They blend easily, and once they set, they don’t smudge or fade. Once dry, they are locked in place. These pencils are very waterproof and require eye make up remover to get off. The colours are highly pigmented and there is a vast array of colours available. These liners shine and have a glistening quality. One drawback for me is that I can not get these pencils to stay on my waterline. Recently, Lise Watier changed these pencils. Previously, they were traditional eye liner pencils that required sharpening. Each pencil contained 1.2g of product. They are now sold in retractable pencils, which contain 0.5 g of product. That is less than half as much as they used to contain! The worst part is that the cost has gone up! I wrote an email to the company expressing my disappointment and they responded with a generic letter that did not address my issue. I will no longer be purchasing these pencils. They are expensive, and now that they contain less than half of the product, they cost more than I’m willing to pay. An inexpensive alternative for pencils comparable in quality are the follow pencils: Essence Effect Eye Pencil Long-Lasting. Based on the quality and formula of these pencils, I recommend them, but because of the reduction in amount of product, I suggest exploring alternatives.

beautiful colours I would never have thought to try as eyeliner. I am really enjoying the navy as a gorgeous alternative to black and when I'm in a playful mood I use the blue/aqua colour. The glitter pencils give your eyes some extra twinkle without being over the top. No one will look at you and think you are wearing sparkly eyeliner, but they will make your eyes pop in a really beautiful way.
Not sure if this is the exact same product that I was searching for to review; I have Lise Watier Intense Waterproof Eyeliner. It lasts nearly all day, with a small bit of fading but nothing incredibly noticeable. Definitely longer lasting than my other liners. I love the colour Marine. It's dark enough to pass as a blue-black. It's managed to stay on my face through full-blown crying fits (I had a rude customer who made me break down sobbing at work and out of all my makeup, my eyeliner was the only thing left standing from the fit). It's about $23 for one which is more expensive than my usual drugstore liners, but something I would purchase to wear during a sad movie.
