Life of Pi
- "I remember reading this book for summer reading for high school and at first I couldn't get into it and after the first chapter I didn't want to put the book down." in 6 reviews
This was a great book! I watched the movie and it didn't even compare to the book. The book is genius and so descriptive. Such a great novel!
The beginning of the book is slow moving and very had to continue reading. I finally did finish it. I preferred the movie over the book.
The book is a bit boring at times, and drags in forever, but it really shows you the meaning of love and acceptance, the stages of grief.
This was such a cute sad book with the boy and the lion. I thought it was sad how the boy treated the lion but also how he cares for it
I found the book very disturbing - it wasn't uncomfortable to read, but the realness of it and the twisted ending was very unexpected.
SUCH A GOOD BOOK. A must read, I was very excited that they turned it into a movie but I'm always much happier with the original book.
This book will keep you thinking way beyond the final page of the story. This is a wonderfully written tale that is hard to put down.
I loved this book - full of adventure and mystery and masterful storytelling. But I don't like the ending....sorry, no spoilers!
This is a really good book! I loved it way better than the movie and often suggest it to people when looking for a good read.
Incredibly well written and thought-provoking. The elegant language used to express emotions in the novel really give it depth.
