I feel like the company would get a lot further with consumers if they adjusted their marketing strategy. Two ways to look at it: 1-This is obviously junk as a permanent home to anything, but 2-it's perfect for most temporary needs. This is comparable to travel kennels for dogs or cats-would you market those as livable areas? 🙈 Let's hope not-that's abuse. But they're "safer" for transporting your pet in temporarily. I have 2 turtles and 7 fish, and I do own these. My fish are in it while sick and being treated, and my turtles are in these daily while eating, because they're insanely messy little guys, so they don't eat where they live. For that purpose, this product would get more stars, but they market these as homes and some people just believe them. 😔

NO! ABSOLUTELY NOT! All of the animals that this "housing" advertises for can NEVER and should NEVER live in this! Frogs, fish, snakes, arachnids, etc. all never a much larger housing unit. Also, they all need specific heating, lighting, humidity, etc. With is being so small and plastic, you couldn't even use a heating lamp to maintain proper temperature since it would melt and is not large enough to use rain drips and sprayers. No way, shape or form should any animal like this live in such an environment. This is only good for transportation. Should never be a permanent home, ever!

This is fine if you are doing something like a hermit crab. Or even a temp home to take them into a child classroom for the day. They are not the best for reptiles and you shouldn't use them as a long term thing either.

Only good if you are keeping some crickets or putting some in there for a short time while you clean a tank

First of all, I gave this one star because you should never house any type of pet in this! This is fine for keeping crickets and other feeder insects, and for quick transportation for your small pet, but I would never leave any animal in this for long, and it is most certainly not a "retreat".

The ONLY time I would ever recommend putting anything larger than a cricket in there is if you're transporting your pet on a short distance, or cleaning their FULL SIZED cage. This is not big enough for any of those animals to live in, please do not put them in there!!

Would this be good for kids who want to keep worms as pets? Yes... I have strange children. But, I honestly don't know what worms should live in.
