These underwear came as an Influencer giveaway. The material is soft and stretchy. The crotch area is lined with an absorbent material. Typical leak proof pants usually have a much larger area for absorbency so I would say these would be better for light needs. I wasn't impressed with the full Velcro sides, that made them a bit scratchy. For your average person, that's not necessary, but for someone in the role as a caregiver, then it might be useful. I tested the absorbency with water and found it handled light, slow flows best. Overall these are decent, but I'm going to use my seamstress skills to remove the Velcro sides.
