Love this show i can just watch it over and over drives my family crazy how i can watch it none stop for hours
One of my favorite shows ever and I think one of the best ones out there. Mariska Harigitay knocks it out of the park week after week, and the other actors aren't so bad either (in other words they are all incredibly talented). The gritty realism in this show is what draws me in. SVU tackles tough issues and in it's 14+ years I can barely think of a time they have victim-blamed or promoted harmful ideas. The subjects are difficult and it's not for the light of heart (rape, child abuse, & violent murders are not everybody's cup of tea). There are continuing threads, but the best thing about SVU is you can watch a random episode and still enjoy it. Nothing better on a lazy Sunday than to casually watch one of those ubiquitous USA marathons. If you want to see badass detectives with perfect hair nailing rapists and murderers then this is the show for you. (Personally, the fact that most of the crimes are solved and the bad guy put away in a 45 minute span is what makes this show escapist fantasy for me)
I think there's a reason this show has been around forever. It's completely engrossing. They often take stories from the headlines and incorporate them into the show which I appreciate. Some episodes are better than others, but I almost always find myself saying, "What the..." or "No way!" during the show.
I love this show. Yes, the story lines can sometimes be way over the topped cliche almost. It stills entertaining.
This has been one of my all time favorite shows since forever. the bond between the partners is awesome. the whole cast is incredible and I never get bored with an episode.
Seasons come and go but I never grow tired of this show. Great writing and a fantastic (and often new) cast of characters.Unpredictable, fast-paced, and smart. Can't say that about too many network dramas!
One of my favorite shows. I often find myself watching reruns throughout the day which I normally can't do with other shows
big fan. although since i had the baby some of the episodes freak me out a bit too much.
I have seen every episode of all the seasons. It is one of my favorite shows. I can watch re-runs of episode and still be so involved that I almost forget that I have already seen it
I can watch this show all day everyday! re-runs and all! when USA have their all day marathons i pretty much plan on staying in all day! It's addicting like the worst kind of drug! Don't get me wrong there are some episodes that are so sad and jaw dropping, but Elliot and Olivia get the job done every time! Can't forget about Munch and Tutuola! They make the cast complete!
