Been watching SVU for years! I was so excited when it aired on Netflix, so happy! I watched from Season 1 all the way to Season 12 during my summer vacation break. Some episodes will make you cry and some episodes have the best endings! But overall, SVU made me want to be a detective. Never knew a show can have such an impact on my career path.
I enjoy watching Law and Order SVU. It's a pretty good T.V. series for those who like crime solving action. I just simply like trying to figure out who the bad guys are and how the stories are going to end. I would definitely recommend anyone who likes a surprised ending to watch this because not all the endings in each episode is a happy ending.
One of the oldest, but really good crime shows. They are very realistic and I like the characters in the show. I don't think there are other shows similar to these that can beat SVU. Of all law and order series, I liked SVU the best. Not all episodes have a solid ending, some of them are open-ended which arent my favorites, but they are still good
I love crime shows more than any other show on tv. I've watched so many of them and Law & Order SVU is one of my favorites. I like this show because it's very realistic,. Even though the show's disclaimer is that none of these stories happened in real life, many of the episodes closely follow real current events. I highly recommend this if you enjoy crime shows!
Been watching since season one , I believe they are in season 16 now. The show puts the detectives in such berating and heart breaking situations that you can not help but fall in love with all of them . The cast has changed for the most part with the exception of a few characters most notably sergeant benson who started as a newbie detective . Cast still win me over , even though the original cast will always have my heart . Good show if your passionate for women's rights
I love the SVU story line, the actors, and the scenes. I grew up watching this because it was my mother's favorite. I don't like all of the other lines they have came out with, they aren't as good because the actors aren't the same or act the part right, but the SVU series I would definitely recommend to anyone loving the murder/court type of shows!
SVU keeps you on your toes and keeps you glued to your tv. It is not like any other TV series. Its a show of a lot of reality that I feel many dont see. But in the end most of the time they get the bad guys but sometimes not as that is how real life is. I am a surviver of abuse. And on this series it gives me a good feeling. But always with a twist.
Really great show. It is the longest-running Law & Order series, and one of the longest-running current shows on TV. Fantastic writers keep up with current events and use real life events to inspire episodes. The actors are great, and you come to love the main characters. With Law & Order: SVU being about the NYPD detectives' and legal system's dealings with sexually based offenses, it really brings awareness and attention to similar issues and cases that happen in real life.
Do you like forced sex? Do you like regular Law & Order and thought 'there isn't enough of that here?' Well, SVU is the show for you. There's so much of it going on in one small town that you'd think it was Gotham, but there's never any going on there. Just a bunch of hot chicks that nothing ever happened to. Kinda like the opposite of SVU.
Dun Dun....Just the introduction is iconic. And honestly Law and Order of any variety is pretty much a once you pop you can't stop scenario. Because once you start an episode you have to finish it just to see how it ends, even if you already know how it ends. It has great ensemble cast and relevant cases that are clearly ripped from the headlines.
