I bought 2 sets for my seating area outside. They really lend an air of elegance and I love the remote, I would not say they light the way so to speak, but I don't have them for improved visibility, only ambient lighting which they provide in spades. To me, however comma the very best feature is that they're safe. I live in the middle of the desert and wildfires are always a problem. I don't have to worry about that with these l e d candles. I highly recommend
