LAQA & CO. Fat Lip Pencil
- "This lil lip crayon goes on smooth and packs a punch of color! I really love the super creamy soft feeling it leaves on your lips!" in 10 reviews
- "Laqa & Co has amazing artwork created around their different lip and nail colors, which I think is awesome. And the color and formula of this pencil itself it great, goes on smooth, nice and moisturizing. I'll definitely keep buying more of these." in 7 reviews
- "This lip pencil is more of a lipstick to me not having the consistency of either though. Good thing is that the color is always true and long lasting. It never dries my lips out and doesn't transfer to other things easily. New favorite of mine." in 6 reviews
- "I got to try this from Birchbox and since then I have two highly pigmented chubby sticks that go on bold and bright but also the newest one is a coral sheer which is perfect for all day wear. I love it because it's more natural looking and its moisturizing. I also like the smell and the packaging from LAQA is always awesome!" in 4 reviews
This lip pencil is soft, and has great color. It feels like applying lip balm. The color doesn’t last in my experience though. If it stayed longer I would rate it higher. They do have great deals, so I don’t mind buying it when I can get it on sale. It’s more of a keep in my purse color...
The red color I have is in the shade "Palate Cleanser." It is a deeper blue-red. I really like the consistency of the Fat Lip Pencil. It glides on the lips well and it doesn't feel waxy. My only concern is a neat application, which can be a little difficult because of the fat tip. What I find works best is to use a disposable doe-foot applicator and outline the lips first, then go back in with the actual pencil and fill in the rest of the lips. (Day 4 of 31 days of Red Lips)
These fat pencils are one of my favorite products made. They are incredibly moisturizing, stay on for a long period of time, and have amazing colors to choose from. I currently have four different colors that I am working through and can’t wait to buy more!!!
While I am not very fond of lip products and even though I was least looking forward to this particular product within my Birchbox for the month, I was actually quite surprised that I LOVED this product! The Honeypot color is very sheer and provides a very natural color to the lips which I greatly appreciated. What had surprised me the most with this product, however, was the scent of the actual product! The lip lube had a delightful minty scent which also provided a cooling effect to the lips. It provided both a nice sheer color and great moisture to the lips in helping it stay hydrated, which is something very hard to find with most lip products (even lip balms)! Definitely recommend this product if you are in the market for a new lip product that not only helps give a light color but also provides a satisfying cooling moisture. Believe me, I am someone who is not really fond of lip products but after having this one in my possession, I've been converted into a "lip lube" believer!!
I use a beautiful shade of crimson that pairs perfectly with my crimson scrubs that I wear to the hospital for clinicals. It's the perfect color for my skin tone and makes my lips look bigger and fuller than they really are. The size is also perfect for me, and it's super easy to put on. It also lasts longer than some of my other lipsticks.
I got the Sheer Lip Lube Pencil in my Birchbox in the color Menatour which is a pinky purple color. It's got a spearmint smell to it because mint helps plump the lips. I love this product! goes on smooth, it's a creamy color, very moisturizing, AND the color stay for a good long while. Put it on it the morning and it's still there by lunch, not as vibrant but still there! Wonderful!
I really like lighter, more teasing colors, so the fat lip pencil I got from LAQA and Co was absolutely perfect for me. It's a much bolder color than I would normally choose, so the fact that the application wasn't super heavy made it a pro for me since it allowed for some acclimation. It's a little sheer, super moist, and goes on as smoothly as my favorite lipsticks.
I got a sample of this in my monthly birchbox. I loved how creamy and pigmented the product was, but I was sent a color that was neon pink, a color that I would never purchase on my own. It was very unflattering on my light skin tone with peach undertones.
