I use this on myself and my two little girls that are 5 and 6 years old as well. We love this! It smells sort of coconut like to me. Sort of fresh. This is meant for towel dried hair and you’re supposed to spitz lightly and evenly through and then comb/brush out the tangles. Then air dry or blow dry etc. you use it just like a detangler for kids. This just has amino acids and vitamins to nourish and help your hair while detangling. The assets to this listed are shine, softness, increased manageability, UV protection, while it nourishes conditions and detangles! What more could you want?? Absolutely nothing: yes please! I have two for a reason. Cannot run out of my fav Lange products. It’s just not an option at this point. I owe all of my hair health to Lange and I’m a forever customer and supporter. And if you want a mask then the borago hair mask is life changing!! And I don’t say that lightly.
