Product Description

An oil-free, long-wearing, liquid foundation that delivers medium-to-full coverage and leaves a natural-looking, velvety-matte finish for up to 24 hours.

For those long days, this foundation gives you the full coverage, comfortable, long wear that you need. Not thick or greasy, this foundation's innovative formula gives all skintones flawless, complexion-perfecting coverage, while the broad spectrum SPF 15 sunscreen protects. Redness, pores, and imperfections visibly disappear, evening the skintone and leaving a mattified-yet-natural result. Formulated with color-true NAI pigments, it maintains your skin’s pH level so that color stays put all day long—meaning your makeup doesn’t need to be re-touched and provides transfer-resistant coverage—plus, it’s infused with perlite and silica, absorbing oil for a shine-free wear.

This expert formula took Lancôme eight years of research to perfect and unveil. This product is oil-free, fragrance-free, transfer-resistant, noncomedogenic, dermatologist-tested, and suitable for all skin types. Its 35 shades were developed based on real skintones so that everyone can find the perfect match.

I have heard so much about this foundation and have been mulling over whether or not to buy it for a while. I had myself shade matched at Macy’s and received a significantly sized sample from the woman tending to the Lancome counter. I was looking for something with medium to full coverage — something that could be built up without a thick cakey feeling. That is 100% this foundation. I can put on one layer of this foundation and the coverage is absolutely there yet somehow feels incredibly lightweight. I wear a Vitamin C serum, a light sunscreen, eye cream, and the first aid beauty coconut smoothie primer under the foundation. I have combination skin but these days it has been far more dry due to the weather. I have fairly problematic smile lines and, after 9+ hours of wear, I found that this is the first time a foundation did not wildly exaggerate, crease, or emphasize my smile lines. I was truly stunned. There was a natural crease but, my goodness, it was so faint and I hadn’t even set the area around my chin and mouth. I bought this first thing this morning so I could get the Sephora VIB discount. This product has a beautiful finish and neither dried out my skin nor did it make my skin oily. So pleased with this foundation!

I have weird mixed feelings on this foundation. With it being a cult favorite and summer approaching I decided to try it. They do have an amazing color selection, 100N is perfect for me. It goes on a bit dark but oxidizes to the correct color in about ten minutes. I just... I don’t know. I think this would be awesome cut with moisturizer or maybe another foundation, but I’m not sure it’s good for me on it’s own. I have very very dry skin and it did cling to some patches (that being said my skin has been awful from the weather change so I may try again once it’s balanced out), but really I just feel like my skin looked... not good. And by the end of the day my skin looked very textured. I’m going to try again with a couple different methods, but I’m pretty sure this will only really be good for me for summer. It has good staying power and many others love it, but this just isn’t well suited for dry skin. I hesitate to say it’s well suited for textured skin either. Other than that I think this is a decent price point for a mid range foundation, the packaging is nice, and Lancôme is overall a good and reliable brand. If you like matte finish foundations, give this a try! My search continues...

Review for: 320 Bisque W more...
For the past couple of months, I've been lucky that my skin has remained blemish-free, except for a pimple or two during 'that time of the month.' I wore Urban Decay's One and Done (in Medium) the entire summer season since I didn't need that much coverage and I was all about the 'no makeup makeup' look.
Now that it's fall, I wanted to try out a new foundation that's ideal for combination/oily skin like mine. I walked into Sephora, swatching every matte foundation there is, but Lancome's Teint Idole Ultra Long Wear Foundation was what got my attention. Right off the bat, I loved its texture when applied to my skin (I swatched both at the back of my hand and jawline). I asked a Sephora specialist to color-match me, and 320 Bisque W was the perfect match when she applied it on my left cheek with a brush.
I've been wearing this foundation for three days now, and I'm so far loving it on my skin. I have used two different primers under this foundation: (1) MakeUp Forever Step 1 Mattifying Primer and (2) Rimmel Stay Matte Primer. I find that using the MakeUp Forever primer makes my skin matte, but also makes it very dry to touch. When I used the Rimmer Primer, however, my foundation went on smoothly using a flat-top kabuki brush (similar to Sigma's F80 brush). I have also tried applying it with a damp BeautyBlender Pro, and the coverage became a bit more sheer (but not BB/CC cream sheer) unless you add more product to build up the coverage (a pump and a half is usually enough to cover my entire face). I set this foundation with CoverFX's Perfect Setting Powder and spray on Urban Decay's All-Nighter Long-Lasting Setting spray for final touches.
I knocked out a star in my rating because my foundation holds up to about six to eight hours of wear before needing to blot it with blotting sheets and/or blotting powder (I use CoverFX Blotting Powder). This foundation also doesn't come cheap, so I couldn't give it a perfect rating for that reason.

So I don’t think I got the right shade for my skin but it’s too late to return/exchange it: mine is a little too pink for me when I have yellow undertones. However I really like this formula! I have dry/combo skin and am really picky with foundations. I typically like matte foundations and my go to is the Tarte Amazonian Clay foundation which is more thick and creamy. I tend to stay away from liquid foundations because they sink into my pores and show fine lines and dry patches. This foundation doesn’t do that as much as other liquid foundations I have tried. It goes on smoothly with both a brush and a beauty blender. I personally like to use a brush for this foundation. It’s definitely not a full coverage foundation but it is buildable without looking cakey. It does last the whole day but definitely not as long as my tarte foundation does. I also like how this is a pump foundation. It’s a bit pricey but I do think this is worth it. I just need my right shade!

I decided to give this foundation a chance after Nikki Tutorials gave it such a great review. I'm very pale, and high end foundations sometimes tend to forget the people on the front and end of the spectrum. I used my beloved beauty blender to apply it and it went on like a dream. It didn't cling to unseen dry patches, wasn't cakey and overall looked very beautiful. I was still skeptical of the wear time, because that's usually where most brands fall short. Okay, Lancome, sixteen hours, huh? Well, I have eight hour shifts and my foundation looked just as flawless at the end of my shift then when I had first applied it. I also received compliments on my skins appearance, which was very nice to hear! I highly recommend giving this a go!

I bought this about 2 weeks ago and it has totally reminded me that I love Lancôme foundations. When applied with a damp sponge, it goes on at a solid medium coverage, but is completely buildable to full coverage. When building up to full coverage, I’ve been able to build up only in areas that I need it and it blends in with the rest and it doesn’t look cakey or like fake skin.
I do feel like I have to use a fair amount of product to cover my entire face and for that and the price, it bothers me. BUT, when it sets the transfer is minimal and it feels so light weight. I can take the good with the bad.
In a nutshell:
The pros:
Feels amazing
Solid, buildable coverage
Minimal transfer
Dries down quickly
Looks natural and doesn’t sink in to find likes excessively.

The cons:
The price per ounce
Amount of product I’ve had to use
It does oxidize slightly (seriously they all do!) and I feel like I have a SLIGHT orange undertone at the end of the day.

Its best product . Bestiiiiieeee bestttt product,,,,I loveeeee this product. I really enjoy free samples. If its good I definitely upload in my vlog and recommend to friends ,colleagues and family . I usually buy from drugstores. Love to use branded products and love to try new samples. Crazy to try  new samples but  cost effective :(The product has this light lotiony texture that spreads very easily, and I have not experience it feeling greasy or tacky on my face at all. It dries down rather quickly. Now when it comes to how it performs in making my makeup last any longer than other primers that I own, I can personally say that this primer does allow for my makeup to stay on a very long time. The only major difference is that it provides a level of hydration to my skin at the same time, while it's doing it's job towards keeping my face well primed, and keeping my makeup look as fresh as possible, for as long as possible. So it's really like using a light hydrator+moisturizer all-one.

I have tested this foundation out several times now.  My skin is normal to dry with fine lines, and freckles.  It has good lasting power, but I cannot build up past medium coverage without it looking cakey.  I do like that the SPF is built in so I can use a different moisturizer.  The wearability is a little different depending on what primer you use so try out a few different ones.  The pump is nice and it really takes very little to do your whole face for medium coverage.  It has not played well with others when I've tried to mix, so I use this one by itself only and for those days I plan to have a full face on more than a few hours (which is really almost any day for me!).  The price is a bit high and I would wait for a sale before getting this one.  It's nice, but it's not going to be a sell out or anything.

I wanted to try this foundation out for awhile now and finally took the change and picked one up I was hoping that it would be one of my new favorites like my Laura Mercier Flawless Fusion Ultra-LongWear Foundation or my YSL all hours matte foundation but sadly it did not live up to them my problem was the color match and the coverage of the foundation first off I am a very fair girl and that lightest color in there range was to dark for me also I was excited to try the product when I heard it was full coverage which is what I want in my foundations but I am disappointed this product is not full coverage it is medium at best I will continue to use it since I paid a pretty penny for it but after I use it up I will not buy it again will be sticking with my two favorites Laura Mercier Flawless Fusion Ultra-LongWear Foundation or YSL all hours matte foundation.

Biggest let down ever. The makeup artist at Sephora was wearing it and his face looked FLAWLESS. I quickly got shade matched and thanks to the wide range of colors, I found one that perfectly matched me. That’s where all the goodness ended. I have super oily skin with a few flaky patches around my mouth and between my eyes. This foundation goes on flawlessly, but within 20 minutes it started clinging to every single dry patch on my face. I had fine lines I didn’t even know existed thanks to this foundation. I tried applying it with different techniques, setting it differently, waiting longer to let my moisturizer set in and NOTHING helped. I was so scaly, I looked like a snake an hour in. Also, it didn’t last. 24 hours my ass. I could wipe this off With my fingers. I even tried switching up my skin care, and it didn’t help. Overall, a terrible fondation for anyone with anything but “normal” skin. Two stars for the shade range, but way too overpriced for the quality. Packaging was great but actual product felt more like a $10 drugstore foundation than a $50 department store one

I have been looking for a great foundation that is not only full coverage, but great for oily skin. Several people in passing have said they like Lancôme but I've never tried it. What are your experiences with this particular foundation? And did it work for your oily skin?
