I have been using L.A. Looks Sport Styling Gel for a long time. It’s inexpensive and reliable. I typically purchase the large container and travel size to always have it on me. It is a thicker gel consistency and it is a little sticky, but my hair needs that for certain styles. The smell is very good, it’s a mild frangrance and very faint, which I prefer because I like the smell of shampoo/conditioner and this product doesn’t take over with the scent. My hair is thick, type 2b. When I use this gel, I personally dilute it with water so it can reach the consistency my hair needs. I put a good bit on my hands and rub them together then put water over them and run my hands through my hair. That always gives me the best results. Other than being sticky, my only other complaint is it CAN make your hair look stiff, hence why I dilute with water 😉.
