It's excellent for styling hair, i used this when I had to wear my uniform for njrotc to put my hair in a bun, and it was always so smooth and shiny, and it would last the whole school day.

L. A Looks (the yellow one) is the only hair gel I use. It has been my gel since I was a teenager. It holds up the best, it doesn't get that white residue like some gels do and it pairs perfectly with Rave Pump Hairspray mega hold 4. If I have these two products and a diffuser I'm good to go. I am finding it hard to find in stores these days though. The yellow LA looks is the one I can't seem to find and my Rave pump Hairspray. I don't know what I'll do if they quit selling them. Nothing compares to these and I've tried so many over the years. This gel is super cheap too so it's a total WIN
