I finally got to try this after my skin went from obscenely oily to dry after starting Differin.  The bottle is very reminiscent of MUFE HD foundation, which had me concerned because MUFE does not work on my face, regardless of my skin type.  I picked up Porcelain, as I figured the second to lightest shade would probably work for me.  On that front, I was incorrect.  Porcelain is very close to an NC20 shade.  The undertones were great, but the shade was too dark.  I mixed this with some lightening drops so I could test this out.

I used a blender sponge to apply this over a silicone primer, and I was very pleased with the results.  It went on very luminous, with medium coverage.  It is a very lightweight product.  It has no scent that I can detect.  It didn't dry down, however, so it did need set with a powder before I could go over top of it with any powder products.  I wore amazingly all day!  I had some creasing in my smile lines but this happens when I used a silicone-based primer.  I tried this foundation again over a water-based primer and it looked just as amazing and wore just as well.  It lasted over 10 hours for me.  It actually looked better after some of my natural oils came in.  I just looked healthy and awake.

My only complaint is the hit-or-miss shade range.  The next shade down has a cool undertone, so I am stuck with Porcelain.  I have to mix this every time I want to wear this, which is a pain in the butt.  But if I have time, mixing for the right shade in this product is worth the extra time.

Review for: White Lightener more...
I saw this product in CVS and I knew I had to get my hands on it. For $8.99 this product is the bomb. I have the hardest time finding foundation shades that are light enough for me, especially in the winter. This foundation comes in a white shade, which can be used a lightener for other foundations. I have been mixing this product in with my Milk Blur Liquid Matte Foundation and my Physicians Formula Healthy Foundation. This mix-in product works well with everything. I think it actually makes my foundations glide on easier. Plus it comes with a PUMP! Yes, folks, you heard it here first! It is a drugstore miracle. But seriously I have been using this stuff non-stop. I’m really tempted to go back to CVS and buy my actual foundation shade and see what I think of the foundation itself. For the price, it is definitely worth checking out if you have really pale skin or if you want to make your summer shade your winter shade.

Not the worst drugstore foundation, but definitely not the best!

I purchased this because I wanted a full coverage foundation and this product received a lot of hype. I wasn't really impressed. I applied with an Eco Tools beauty blender the product smeared a lot and was more difficult to blend than other drugstore foundations I've used. It's buildable if you want full coverage, but I needed like three layers. It definitely is "illuminating" but I ended up looking really oily/shiny throughout the day. If you use good products over it, you can still pull off a really nice look, but I wouldn't purchase it twice.

I purchased the shade "Nude Beige" which was a little dark for my complexion, but wasn't a problem once I contoured and used banana powder under my eyes, etc.

This is one of my new HG Foundations! You get .95 ounces of product for $10 and it lasts a long time. I have textured combination skin and this goes on like a dream. I use a beauty blender to apply shade “Fair”. I have applied it with a brush but I find I need almost double the product to cover my face and it doesn’t melt into the skin as well, so I would definitely recommend using a beauty blender for this foundation. This foundation gives a really nice satin finish that looks very natural on the skin. I set this with some powder and setting spray and it lasts ALL DAY! I wore this stuff swimming for two hours the other day and my skin still looked flawless when I got out. This is a great medium-full coverage foundation option for a good price!

This got a bunch of hype on YouTube and I'm not really sure why. Though of course I bought it because of all the reviews that poured in saying how amazing it is. I have combination skin and applied this product with a beauty blender. As I was applying this to my face I stared back at myself in horror. Is this grease paint? The consistency is questionable, and after completing the application my face looked so oily I was shining. LITERALLY SHINNING. So, I ATTEMPTED to tone it down with some mattifying translucent setting powder.. which actually made things ten times worse. No, it wasn't a crappy powder either. It was my holy grail powder. Now my face had patches of shiny globs and then patches of caked on makeup where the foundation tried to absorb powder as it sat on top of my face. Also, my blush, bronzer and highlighter did not work well whatsoever with this oh so lovely product! By this point I was seriously debating on even doing a wear test because of how horrendous it looked. Instead of going out, I stayed in cleaning my apartment that way no one had to see the sorry story that was my face. Final results? WELL. It decided to break down on me, giving me random patches of red, oily skin peeking through along with flakes of buildup from the setting powder. I happily used my Tatcha Cleansing Oil to remove this mess of a face.

One of my holy grails for dry skin!!!! 😍😍😍 y'all I'm in love with this foundation for everyday makeup. It's got medium coverage, however if it is layered then it will become full. Very hydrating for the skin and what I love about it is that it dosnt break me out as much as other foundations. The shade porcelaine though ( the color I use) has a bit of a yellow tone which kinda bothers me a bit but it's no big deal. I heard that it's a dupe for the makeupforever HD foundation which I do really agree with that. One of my favorite things about this is that it is cheap and very accessible!! Highly reccomenned for those who love makeup but are on a budget.

Pros:
-easy to blend -medium to full coverage
-dewy/illuminating finish
-comes with a pump
I have combo skin and I LOVE this foundation. It is easy to apply, has good pigmentation, good color match and is long lasting. I set every foundation with powder and this lasts me 7 hours without getting oily. Another HUGE pro is that it doesn’t break me out or clog my pores. The foundation takes a while to set but does not feel heavy or look cakey. I HIGHLY recommend this for people with dry skin and combo skin (if you like a natural/dewy finish). I have pictures for shade references and a picture of the foundation on my skin. The foundation has NO flashback and looks amazing in pictures.

I received this foundation shade complimentary from LA Girl Cosmetics in an Instagram giveaway. I have a few foundations that are a tad too deep for my surface tone right now and this white foundation from LA Girl has been such a huge help in lightening my foundations. I only wish they came out with a yellow or pink tinted foundation so it would help correct the under tones of foundations too. Nevertheless, this foundation shade is perfect for mixing with other shades. On the other hand, coverage is amazing. It has medium to full coverage and with a tinted BB or CC cream this will help add more coverage to the cream. It has a dewy natural finish, nothing you can't fix with powder (if you are like me and have combo skin and want a matte look). There's no overwhelming smell and the product comes with a pump which is definitely great. A must have for any freelance makeup artist to mix in with foundations. ❤

I grabbed this at Ulta and also the white lightener that you can get to adjust the shade. It’s definitely a fuller coverage for a drugstore brand. It’s creamy and very easy to mix in the shade adjuster if you need it. I like the texture and so far, with primer, it hasn’t broken up on my by the end of the day. I do wish it had a better shade range, both lighter and darker shades. Lots of in the middle happening. Also they have more shades on their site but Ulta doesn’t carry them.. get on it Ulta.

I have only tried the white foundation and it has worked wonderfully for what I have used it for . I have tried a few Halloween looks and it has came through for me here I mixed it 2 parts this 1 part Maybelline Dream Liquid® Mousse Foundation and it gave me the perfect shade for my sugar skull I have also mixed it with foundations that are to dark for me and it has worked well blended nicely and did not change the texture or performance of the foundations I have used it with .will keep this product on hand at all times it's a great multi use product and will try my shade in this one asap because the white proved good
